Record the symbol before sizing gold

| Account / profit / margin currencies | |
| Local specification capture or source reference |
1 · Price-risk and volume inputs
| Property | Value and unit | Source / checked date |
|---|---|---|
| Contract size per 1.00 lot | ||
| Tick size / tick value and currency | ||
| Digits / point size | ||
| Volume minimum / maximum per order / step | ||
| Round-trip commission per lot | ||
| Extra price allowance; costs already in prices |
The gold calculator accepts USD accounts and gold quoted in USD per ounce. Use its broker-specification mode for contract ounces, volume settings and entered costs. It does not convert currencies or verify your broker. Check unfamiliar units before entering them.
2 · Separate order and margin checks
| Check independently in the terminal | Your observation / source / date |
|---|---|
| Stops level and freeze restrictions, if supplied | |
| Trade mode, permitted order types and current session | |
| Aggregate same-direction position and pending-order volume | |
| Margin calculation mode / initial margin / required margin | |
| Free margin and existing account exposure | |
| Swap and costs omitted from the price-risk estimate |
Planned loss at a stop and margin required to open an order are different quantities. A size inside a risk budget does not establish order acceptance, enough margin or a maximum possible loss. A worse fill, gaps or missing costs can increase loss.
