The Smart Money Concepts Rule Book
ICT and SMC as exact rules on closed candles, every concept set against the ones it's confused with, and what our data says about each.
1,729 gold-futures zones measured: the toolkit's 0–100 zone score did no better than shuffled scores, and the book prints it.

What's inside
- 26 SMC and ICT terms, each one closed-candle rule: BOS, CHoCH, MSS, order blocks, breakers, fair value gaps, sweeps, OTE, killzones, SMT and more
- The comparisons traders search for, side by side: BOS vs CHoCH vs MSS, breaker vs mitigation vs order block, sweep vs grab vs breakout, FVG vs imbalance vs IFVG
- Every measurement we've published on these concepts, with its sample, period and costs, and why the book prints no win rate
- A diagram for every concept, each mark placed by the rule its chapter states
- Killzone, Silver Bullet and OTE settings worked to the clock and the price, daylight saving time and TradingView's Fib tool included
- A one-page cheat sheet, a printable checklist, a plan card and a trade log
Contents
- 01What smart money concepts are, and where ICT's own words endA vocabulary for reading price, written here as checks on closed candles: every term, its test, and what no one has shown.
- 02Market structure: swing points, BOS, CHoCH and the MSSThree names for a close beyond a swing. What differs is the direction before it, and what else has to be true.
- 03Liquidity: equal highs and lows, inducement, and where the stops sitLiquidity is an assumption about where orders rest. Here is where the rules put it, and how to name a level before price gets there.
- 04The liquidity sweep, turtle soup and the Judas swingOne picture, a wick through a level and a close back, on three clocks: any candle, a 20-day low, and the hours after midnight in New York.
- 05Fair value gaps: the three-candle rule, imbalance and the inverseWick to wick, after candle 3 closes. Then the gap's life: the first touch, the fill, the close that ends it, and the flip.
- 06Order blocks: which candle, which part of it, and when it's finishedNo break, no order block. The last candle that closed against the move, its body or its wicks, faded by a touch and ended by a close.
- 07Breaker and mitigation blocksTwo zones made by a failure. One question names them: did the move before the break close beyond the last low?
- 08Supply and demand zones vs order blocksThe base a fast move left from, drawn by one rule and set against the order block's. Mostly the trigger and the exit differ.
- 09Premium, discount and the optimal trade entryWhich range sets the 50% line, where ICT's 62% to 79% band sits inside it, and how to set it up on TradingView.
- 10Time: killzones, the silver bullet and the power of 3Fixed windows on the New York clock, what daylight saving time does to them on yours, and the one-hour and one-day setups built on them.
- 11SMT divergence: the two-chart checkTwo markets that usually move together disagree at the same swing. The rule says how close in time "the same" has to be.
- 12Entry models: sweep, shift, gap and block in one planThe searched models are one sequence with different parts swapped in. Write the whole plan down, from the level to the exit, before the session.
- 13Win rates: what our data says, and why we print noneEvery measurement we've published on these concepts, with its sample, period and costs. None is a validated edge.
- 14The cheat sheet and the checklist (print these)Two pages to keep beside the screen: every rule in a line, and the checks to run before every trade.

Who it's for
Get it if
- You trade ICT or SMC concepts, and two traders or two indicators keep marking different candles
- You want BOS, CHoCH, order blocks and sweeps decided by a rule you can check, not by a screenshot
- You'd rather know what was measured, and what wasn't, before you trust a setup
Skip it if
- You want a signal service, a strategy that wins or a win rate: this book has none
- You want ICT's mentorship in his own words: this is our rule set, and ICT (Michael J. Huddleston) doesn't endorse it
Answers
Is this ICT's material?
No. It's ProEA Lab's rule set for the terms ICT's teaching made popular, each written as a check on closed candles. ICT (Michael J. Huddleston) doesn't endorse this book, and we have no relationship with him. Where the book quotes a definition, it's a third-party page, marked as one and dated.
Does SMC work? What's the win rate?
We haven't found a tested yes. The book prints every measurement we've published on these concepts with its sample, period and costs, and none is a validated edge. It shows why a win rate alone tells you nothing, and how to test a rule on your own market before you trust it.
Do I need an indicator?
No. Every rule works by eye on any chart. Chapter 13 shows what to look for in an SMC indicator's source before you trust its boxes.
What do I get, and how?
One PDF, 39 pages, A4, readable on a phone, a tablet or paper. After payment the download is on the confirmation page and stays in your account, so you can download it again anytime.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 7 days if you haven't downloaded the PDF yet. Downloading it ends the refund, since the guide is then yours. A broken or incomplete file is refunded at any time.
Is it included in All-Access?
Yes. All-Access Monthly and Academy Premium members get every paid guide in their downloads, at no extra cost, from the day it opens.
Will it be updated?
When a fact in it changes (a price, a plan, a script), we correct it in a new edition. Your account always has the edition you bought.
