The Flux Charts Price Action Toolkit alternative with source you keep

Flux Charts' homepage shows one plan, Pro, at $119.99 a month or $719.88 a year. It buys all three of its TradingView toolkits, the Price Action Toolkit among them, with a screener and a backtester for each and daily live classes. The toolkits are invite-only scripts, the Price Action Toolkit's source is closed, and only first-time monthly subscribers can ask for their money back. The SMC AI-Scored Toolkit is one indicator: it scores every order block and FVG 0–100 on five factors and shows how its zones resolved on your chart, with its full Pine v6 source, $39 once. Flux Charts covers far more of smart money concepts; ours is a scorer you can read and keep.

When Flux Charts is the better pick

  • You want market structure marked for you, the BOS/CHoCH job: the Price Action Toolkit's page lists "Identification of Market Structures". The SMC AI-Scored Toolkit is sold to score order blocks and FVGs, not to label structure.
  • You want liquidity and premium/discount drawn too: the same page lists "Buyside & Sellside Liquidity", liquidity grabs and premium and discount zones, beside breaker blocks and inversion FVGs. In the SMC toolkit, a liquidity sweep is one of the five inputs to a zone's score.
  • You want to scan a watchlist or backtest the toolkit: Pro includes a PAT Screener and a PAT Backtester, and a screener and a backtester for each of its other two toolkits.
  • You want a whole suite and people around it: Pro adds the SFX Algo and MTF Supply & Demand Zones toolkits, daily live educational classes and a library of trading strategies.
  • You want to start free: Flux Charts' Order Blocks script on TradingView is open source (MPL 2.0), with 26,258 boosts on 2026-10-26.

FAQ

How much is Flux Charts?

On 26 October 2026 its homepage showed one plan, Pro: $119.99 a month, or $59.99 a month billed yearly ($719.88), with no free trial in its pricing data. Pro includes all three of its toolkits, the Price Action Toolkit among them. At those prices three years cost $4,319.64 month to month or $2,159.64 yearly. The SMC AI-Scored Toolkit is $39 once.

Can I get a refund from Flux Charts?

Only on a first-time monthly subscription, per its refund policy: a formal request by email or Discord ticket within 30 days, and cancelling alone doesn't trigger one. Yearly and lifetime plans are excluded, and so is a monthly plan upgraded to yearly within those 30 days. The SMC AI-Scored Toolkit has a 7-day refund before you download.

Can I see the source code of Flux Charts' Price Action Toolkit?

No: on TradingView it is an invite-only script, and its source is closed. The SMC AI-Scored Toolkit ships its full Pine v6 source, 1,510 lines, plus an AI-agent kit.

What does the Price Action Toolkit cover that the SMC AI-Scored Toolkit isn't sold for?

Per its TradingView page: market structure ("Identification of Market Structures"), "Buyside & Sellside Liquidity", liquidity grabs, premium and discount zones, breaker blocks and inversion FVGs; the Pro plan adds a screener and a backtester. The SMC AI-Scored Toolkit is sold to score order blocks and FVGs, give a verdict and a trade plan, and show the Resolved %. Our Advanced AIO v2 ($49 once) grades setups over BoS/CHoCH, order blocks, FVG to IFVG and sweeps.

Does the SMC AI-Scored Toolkit's score find the strongest order blocks?

We haven't shown that it does. The score ranks each zone on five factors: volume, displacement, liquidity sweep, higher-timeframe alignment and time of day. In our own test on gold futures (1,729 zones, default weights), the composite score didn't sort zones better than shuffled scores; two of its factors, displacement and volume, showed exploratory associations. It ranks zones; you decide.

Flux Charts or LuxAlgo: which costs less for an SMC toolkit?

At their own prices on 26 October 2026, LuxAlgo's Price Action Concepts came with Premium: $39.99 a month, or $311.92 for the first year in a sale, then $479.88 a year. Flux Charts' Price Action Toolkit came with Pro: $119.99 a month or $719.88 a year. Over three years: LuxAlgo Premium $1,271.68 yearly or $1,439.64 month to month; Flux Charts Pro $2,159.64 yearly or $4,319.64 month to month. Both plans buy more than an SMC toolkit, and both deliver it as an invite-only script. The SMC AI-Scored Toolkit is $39 once.

Is the SMC AI-Scored Toolkit made by Flux Charts?

No. It is our own tool, and we have no relationship with Flux Charts. Both mark order blocks and FVGs; the scoring, settings and output of ours are our own.

Does Flux Charts work on TradingView's free plan?

Yes, per its FAQ: "All Flux Charts tools work with the free version of TradingView." The SMC AI-Scored Toolkit also runs on TradingView Basic for manual chart use; its indicator alerts need a paid TradingView plan with technical-alert capacity.

How we check an indicator for repainting

  1. Freeze. Screenshot the right edge with the version, inputs and time visible.
  2. Reload. Let several bars close, reload the chart and compare the same window.
  3. Replay. Step through and note when each marker first appears, not just where it is drawn.
  4. Alert receipts. Set once-per-bar-close alerts and compare their times with the chart.

With the source open you can also look for higher-timeframe requests that read ahead and markers plotted into the past. The full method is our 20-minute repaint audit. Run it on Flux Charts' tools and on ours.
