How does Blue Guardian's 5:00 PM EST daily drawdown reset work when holding open trades?
At 5:00 PM EST, Blue Guardian takes the higher of your account balance or floating equity and subtracts a fixed 3% (Instant, Instant Starter, 2-Step Nano) or 4% (1-Steps, 2-Step Standard, BNPL) of your initial balance. Holding +$1,000 of open floating profit at 5:00 PM EST on a $100,000 Instant account raises the snapshot to $101,000 and sets the daily floor at $98,000—leaving only $2,000 of room below your $100,000 closed balance.
What is Blue Guardian's Guardian Shield and what happens if I trigger it?
Once your combined open trades across all symbols are down 1% of initial balance (Instant, Instant Starter, funded BNPL—$1,000 on $100K) or 2% (funded 1-Step Standard and 2-Step Standard—$2,000 on $100K), the Guardian Shield automatically closes all open trades. The 1st trigger permanently cuts your profit split to 50% for good; the 2nd trigger permanently breaches the account.
Why can I only withdraw $5,000 when I have $6,000 of profit on a $100,000 Blue Guardian Instant or 1-Step account?
On Instant and both 1-Step plans, the 6% trailing drawdown locks at your starting balance ($100,000) once you reach 6% profit ($106,000). Once locked, Blue Guardian requires 1% of the initial balance ($1,000 on $100K) to stay in the account as a trading buffer, so $6,000 of profit lets you withdraw $5,000 gross. BNPL has the same 1% buffer, but its 8% trailing drawdown locks at +8% ($108,000 on $100K).
Which Blue Guardian plans have a consistency rule and payout caps?
1-Step Standard and 2-Step Standard have no consistency rule. Instant enforces 20% (15% on $300K and $400K), Instant Starter enforces 15%, BNPL enforces 20% when funded, 1-Step Nano enforces 50% in both stages, and 2-Step Nano enforces 50% when funded plus a 2% per-cycle payout cap. Each limit is strict: a best day equal to it also blocks the payout. On $200K–$400K accounts, the first two payouts are capped at $10,000 each, and every payout carries a 3% processing fee.
