Bulenox Option 1 vs Option 2: where the Master drawdown locks and what the safety reserve needs

Before buying a Bulenox Qualification, Fast Track or Momentum account, you lock in either Option 1 (a real-time intraday trailing drawdown that includes open profit) or Option 2 (an end-of-day trailing drawdown with a Daily Loss Limit); Option 2 adds contract scaling on Qualification and Master accounts only, while Fast Track and Momentum Option 2 accounts have no scaling plan. On a Master Account, either drawdown locks permanently at the starting balance + $100 ($50,100 on a 50K account once equity or balance reaches $52,600), and on Option 2 that lock permanently removes the Daily Loss Limit. Fast Track's Option 2 limit is never lifted, and its 25K account has none.

Method and privacy

Method: Master drawdown locks permanently at startingBalance + $100 once highest intraday peak (Option 1) or EOD close (Option 2) reaches startingBalance + drawdown + $100 ($52,600 on 50K Master). Option 2 Daily Loss Limit ($500–$3,300) is permanently removed on Master once the threshold locks. Master payout requires >= 10 trading days, bestDayProfit ÷ cycleProfit <= 0.40 (all profit, reserve included, on the first payout), request >= $1,000, and leaving the Safety Threshold Reserve (drawdown + $100) in the account; from the 4th payout a request must be less than 50% of total profit. Fast Track has no minimum trading days; Momentum requests leave its reserve in the account, can't exceed the cycle's profit, and need new profit from the 2nd payout. Nothing is paid while any rule blocks the request.

Common questions

What is the difference between Bulenox Option 1 and Option 2 drawdown?

Option 1 trails your highest account value in real time throughout the day, including unrealized open profit and commissions, with full contract size from Day 1. Option 2 trails only when the day closes at a new end-of-day high and includes a Daily Loss Limit ($1,100 on 50K) that pauses trading for the day without breaching the account.

Where does the Bulenox Master Account drawdown lock, and what happens to Option 2's Daily Loss Limit?

On a Master Account, both Option 1 and Option 2 lock permanently at Starting Balance + $100 ($50,100 on a 50K account once the account reaches $52,600). On a Master Account using Option 2, locking the drawdown permanently removes the Daily Loss Limit for the rest of the account's life.

Why does a 50K Bulenox Master Account require $53,600 to request the $1,000 minimum payout?

A 50K Master Account requires a $2,600 Safety Threshold Reserve ($2,500 drawdown + $100) to remain above the starting balance, and the minimum withdrawal request is $1,000 ($50,000 + $2,600 + $1,000 = $53,600). For the first three payouts, a 50K Master request is capped at $1,500 ($1,350 net at the 90/10 split).

How does the Bulenox consistency rule differ between Master, Momentum, and Fast Track?

On a Master Account (from Qualification), your best day must be 40% or less of total profit (for the first payout, the Safety Threshold Reserve is included in the total profit calculation; after each payout the best day and the total reset). On a Momentum Master, the cap is 35% across at least 5 qualifying days. On Fast Track, the cap is 20% for the 1st payout, 25% for the 2nd, and 30% from the 3rd payout onward.

Limits and trading risk

These tools calculate from your inputs, supported historical records or explicitly labelled teaching examples. They do not verify a live account, predict future returns or confirm that a broker or prop-firm rule has been met. Missing costs, floating losses and changed market conditions can materially change outcomes. Trading can lose the capital committed to it; check the stated method and your account specifications.
