Lucid payout rules by plan: buffer, loss-limit lock and caps

Across Lucid Trading's four funded plans and drawdown rulebooks, every public account shares a $500 minimum request and a 90/10 profit split, yet the same cycle of trades produces different payouts. On LucidPro and LucidDaily, the balance must first pass the Initial Trail Balance, which is also the payout buffer (start + initial MLL + $100, $52,100 on a 50K account). Passing it locks the Max Loss Limit (MLL) for good at start + $100 ($50,100). LucidFlex has no buffer and no funded consistency rule: you can take 50% of your profit after 5 qualifying days, but requesting a payout moves the MLL straight to start + $100, even if the balance never reached $52,100.

Method and privacy

Method: Initial Trail Balance (also the buffer on LucidPro and LucidDaily) = startingBalance + initialMLL + $100 ($52,100 on 50K), locking the MLL at startingBalance + $100 ($50,100 on 50K). LucidPro pays balance above buffer up to $1K–$3.5K under a 40% (or legacy 35%) best-day rule; LucidFlex pays 50% of profit up to $1K–$3K after 5 days >= $100–$250 and jumps MLL to Start + $100; LucidDaily pays all profit above buffer with intraday MLL; LucidDirect pays up to $1K–$3.5K under a 20% best-day rule.

Common questions

How much is the maximum payout on LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDaily, and LucidDirect?

Every public Lucid plan has a $500 minimum request and a 90/10 split. LucidPro pays the balance above its buffer ($26,100 / $52,100 / $103,100 / $154,600) up to $1,000–$3,000 on Payout 1 and $1,500–$3,500 on Payouts 2–5. LucidFlex has no buffer and pays 50% of profit up to $1,000–$3,000 per payout after 5 qualifying days ($100–$250/day). LucidDaily has no dollar cap per request and pays everything built above the buffer. LucidDirect pays up to $1,000–$3,000 on Payouts 1–3 and $1,000–$3,500 on Payouts 4–5.

When does the Lucid Trading Max Loss Limit (MLL) lock, and what happens on LucidFlex after a payout?

The Max Loss Limit trails your highest EOD close (or intraday peak on a LucidDaily funded account) by $1,000 to $5,000 until your balance passes the Initial Trail Balance (Start + MLL + $100, e.g., $52,100 on a 50K account). Once passed, it locks at Start + $100 ($50,100 on 50K). On LucidFlex, requesting a payout automatically jumps your MLL straight to that locked $50,100 balance—even if your account had not reached $52,100 yet.

What is the LucidScale daily loss limit, and who gets On-Demand intraday payouts?

On LucidPro funded accounts and LucidDirect 50K–150K accounts, once your EOD balance closes above the Initial Trail Balance, the fixed soft Daily Loss Limit becomes 60% of your highest end-of-day profit (e.g., $2,200 peak profit × 60% = $1,320 soft DLL) and never decreases. Lucid's help pages added same-session payouts on October 19, 2026: with a daily loss limit, LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect accounts can request the profit made that session (6:00 PM to 3:45 PM ET), and LucidPro and LucidFlex pause trading after the request; LucidDaily can request as soon as its dashboard shows every payout objective met.

Why did one big winning day block my LucidPro or LucidDirect payout but not LucidFlex or LucidDaily?

LucidPro enforces a 40% best-day consistency rule (35% on legacy accounts before 11/28/2025) and LucidDirect enforces a 20% best-day rule on funded payout cycles. For example, a $1,300 best day requires $3,250 of total cycle profit on LucidPro ($1,300 / 0.40) and $6,500 on LucidDirect ($1,300 / 0.20). LucidFlex and LucidDaily funded accounts have no consistency rule.
