Worked example on a $100K FTMO account: $6,200 closed profit with a $3,400 best day
The calculator opens on a $100,000 FTMO account with $6,200 of closed profit and a $3,400 best day, 12 calendar days after the first trade. On a 2-Step FTMO Account, there is no consistency rule: once day 14 arrives in 2 days, all $6,200 is eligible, paying $4,960 at 80% plus your €540 challenge fee refund (or $5,580 at 90% on the Scaling Plan).
Switch to a 1-Step FTMO Account and the $3,400 best day is 54.84% of $6,200 — above the 50% limit. Clearing it requires $3,400 ÷ 0.50 = $6,800 of closed profit ($600 more on smaller days), which then pays $6,120 at 90%.
How the calculator reads your FTMO cycle
The 14-day wait, the October 12, 2026 1-Step cutoff, and Futures caps.
CFD 2-Step, 1-Step, Instant, and FTMO Futures
14-day wait (CFD). On 2-Step, 1-Step, and Instant accounts, your Reward can be requested starting on the 14th calendar day from the first trade placed on that account, once all positions and pending orders are closed.
1-Step 50% Consistency vs Legacy Best Day Rule. Orders placed on or after October 12, 2026 (or older orders merged on or after that date) divide your best closed day by net closed profit including losing days. Older unmerged 1-Step orders divide by the sum of profitable days only. Tick the order/merge checkboxes in the calculator to run either rule.
FTMO Futures Growth & Pro. Futures Sim-Funded Accounts replace the 14-day clock with 4 qualifying days (Growth) or 5 qualifying days (Pro) at your size's daily profit threshold, enforce a per-request payout cap and, on Growth, a 50% Withdrawable Amount, and require at least half of any withdrawal to come from new profit earned in the current cycle.
Where FTMO's pages leave open questions
The Instant 110% balance line and payment method limits.
Two details to plan around
- Instant Account 110% balance line. On an FTMO Instant Account the 10% Maximum Loss Limit trails your highest closed balance and does not reset when you withdraw. FTMO's Trading Objectives warn that once your balance exceeds 110% of the Initial Simulated Capital, a Reward withdrawal would breach the limit. FTMO publishes no partial-withdrawal option.
- Payout method minimums and caps. Bank wire and Visa Direct / Mastercard Send start at $20 closed profit (cards cap at $20,000), crypto starts at $50, and Skrill caps at $3,000.

While you trade toward your Reward day
This check audits payout timing, consistency, and splits only. While you trade for the extra profit a 1-Step or Instant consistency rule asks for, the Maximum Daily Loss and Maximum Loss lines are what can close the account. We sell the Prop Firm Challenge Toolkit, a TradingView indicator that shows your daily-loss, drawdown, and profit-target buffers in dollars on your chart, from the balance you type. Enter your FTMO account parameters as Custom rules; your FTMO Account MetriX remains the source of truth.
