The Big Daddy Max ORB indicator alternative you pay for once
Max Options Trading sells the MOT Advanced ORB Indicator on Whop for $30 a week: per its listing, the 15-minute opening range "for EVERY session on ANY instrument", with breakouts and reversals "coded from Max's proprietary scalping strategies", built for TradingView. The listing doesn't answer its own refund question or say whether you see the code. Opening Range Desk Pro is our own opening-range desk for TradingView: it grades every setup A, B or C, marks the next key level, can bank half at TP1 and puts the whole plan in each alert, with its readable source, $49 once. Theirs is Max's own strategy, per the listing; ours is a rule you can read, test and keep.
| Dimension | Big Daddy Max | ProEA |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | $30 a week on Whop, beside a "+1 option" line the listing doesn't explain; no free trial listed. | $49 once for Opening Range Desk Pro, not a subscription. Academy Premium and the Complete Suite include it. |
| What it does | Per its listing: "Get the 15-min ORB for EVERY session on ANY instrument, with auto-plotted breakouts and reversals coded from Max's proprietary scalping strategies." Built for TradingView. | The opening range, two closes beyond it to enter, the plan (entry, stop, TP1, TP2) and its result on the chart; a setup grade A, B or C from three checks (in play, size, early); yesterday's, overnight and last week's levels with the room to the next one in R; half off at TP1; ORB Radar Pro for up to eight markets |
| Sessions and range length | The 15-minute opening range, for every session, per the listing. | The library desk, Opening Range Desk, takes the range window and the timezone as inputs (09:30–09:45 New York by default; 5, 15 or 30 minutes, London or Tokyo). Pro runs the same engine; its page names the default 09:30–09:45 New York range. |
| Failed breakouts | Per the listing, "auto-plotted breakouts and reversals". | Opening Range Desk marks fake-outs and can trade the failure: after a close back inside the range, it enters the other way, with the stop beyond the failed break. |
| Alerts | The listing doesn't describe its alerts. | One alert sends every event: the range, a heads-up, the entry with stop, both targets, the size for your risk, the grade and the next key level, TP1 and the exit; a relay posts each to Discord or Telegram. |
| The code | The listing doesn't say whether you can see or change the code. | The readable source under a personal-use licence, with an AI Builder Kit; the engine inside keeps its MIT notice. |
| Refunds | Its FAQ asks "What are your refund and cancelation policies?" and showed no answer on 2026-10-27. | 7-day refund before you download |
What three years cost
Big Daddy Max prices as published on whop.com/max-options-trading/mot-advanced-orb/ on 2026-10-27. Each 3-year total is that price multiplied out, nothing else.
| Plan | Published price | 3-year cost |
|---|---|---|
| Big Daddy Max MOT Advanced ORB Indicator | $30/wk | $4,680 weekly |
| Opening Range Desk Pro | $49 once | $49 |
| Pine Pro Library (19 desks) | $49 once | $49 |
The Whop listing shows "$30/ week" and a "+1 option" line it doesn't explain, so the total uses the $30. It lists no free trial. Totals leave out any tax and assume today's price holds for 156 weeks.

FAQ
How much is the Big Daddy Max ORB indicator?
On 2026-10-27 its Whop listing, MOT Advanced ORB Indicator by Max Options Trading, showed $30 a week: $1,560 over 52 weeks and $4,680 over three years at that price. Opening Range Desk Pro is $49 once.
What does the MOT Advanced ORB Indicator do?
Its listing says: "Get the 15-min ORB for EVERY session on ANY instrument, with auto-plotted breakouts and reversals coded from Max's proprietary scalping strategies", built for TradingView. We haven't used it or seen its code, so this page says only what the listing says.
Is there a free Big Daddy Max ORB indicator?
A TradingView account named TheBigDaddyMax publishes "Basic ORB [MOT]", open source, with 3,178 boosts on 2026-10-27. Its code draws the 09:30–09:45 New York high and low and their midpoint, with up to five previous ranges, and no breakout signal, stop, target or alert. Its header limits it to "educational and personal use only." Nothing on either page says it is the paid indicator's free version.
Is the Big Daddy Max ORB Strategy on TradingView the same thing?
No. "Big Daddy Max ORB Strategy" on TradingView is an open-source backtest by MrWickTrading, not by Max Options Trading, from a series that codes popular ideas to test them. Its author writes: "The goal is not to claim that the strategy is profitable out of the box."
Is Opening Range Desk Pro Big Daddy Max's strategy?
No. It is our own opening-range desk, and we have no relationship with Max Options Trading. Both draw the opening range and its breakouts on TradingView; the grade, the plan and the alerts of ours are our own.
Can I get a refund on the MOT Advanced ORB Indicator?
Its listing's FAQ asks about refund and cancellation policies and showed no answer on 2026-10-27, so ask the seller before you pay. Opening Range Desk Pro has a 7-day refund before you download.
Does Opening Range Desk Pro repaint?
No. Every decision and alert reads closed candles, so what the chart shows at a close stays as it was.
Can I use a different session or a 5-minute range?
On the library desk, Opening Range Desk, yes: it takes the range window and the timezone as inputs, 09:30–09:45 New York by default. Pro runs the same engine; its page names the default 09:30–09:45 New York range, and it comes with its readable source, so you can change it. It works on any market whose session includes the window, on candles that divide it; the grade needs volume data.
How we check an indicator for repainting
- Freeze. Screenshot the right edge with the version, inputs and time visible.
- Reload. Let several bars close, reload the chart and compare the same window.
- Replay. Step through and note when each marker first appears, not just where it is drawn.
- Alert receipts. Set once-per-bar-close alerts and compare their times with the chart.
With the source open you can also look for higher-timeframe requests that read ahead and markers plotted into the past. The full method is our 20-minute repaint audit. Run it on Big Daddy Max's tools and on ours.
