Why does AquaFunded Two Step Pro (10% trailing) leave less room than Two Step Standard (8% static) once I make profit?
Two Step Standard has a static 8% maximum loss ($92,000 on a $100K account) that never moves. Two Step Pro has a 10% trailing maximum loss that follows your highest balance or equity and never locks at the starting balance. If a $100K account reaches $106,000 and pulls back to $97,000, Two Step Pro's trailing floor sits at $96,000 (leaving only $1,000 of room), whereas Two Step Standard's 5% daily floor ($92,150) and $92,000 static floor still leave $4,850 of room.
How does AquaFunded calculate the 00:00 UTC daily drawdown floor?
At 00:00 UTC, AquaFunded takes the higher of your balance or floating equity and subtracts 3% (One Step, Instant Standard), 4% (Two Step Elite), or 5% (Two Step Standard and Pro) of that snapshot. In AquaFunded's own Two Step Standard example, $102,000 of floating equity at 00:00 UTC subtracts 5% ($5,100) to set the daily floor at $96,900.
What is AquaFunded's Wave Stop, and how do open-loss limits work on Instant accounts?
Wave Stop covers funded Two Step Pro, Two Step Standard, Two Step Elite and One Step Standard accounts: a 2% open loss ($2,000 on $100K) closes open trades, the 1st strike cuts your split from 90% to 50%, and the 2nd breaches the account. One Step Flex: −1% open loss, 3 strikes (50%→25%→breach) once funded. On Instant Standard (bought >= 8 Sept 2026), a 1% open loss is a strike (1st cuts split to 50%, 2nd to 25%, 3rd breaches). On Instant Pro (2%, or 1% on $300K/$400K) and Instant Flex (1%), hitting the open-loss limit closes the account immediately.
Which AquaFunded models have a consistency rule, news cap, and payout cap?
Instant Standard requires your best day to stay under 15% of cycle profit, Instant Pro under 20% (15% before 8 Sept 2026), and Two Step Pro under 50% when funded (25% before 31 Aug 2026); a day that equals the limit also blocks the payout. All other models have 0% consistency. Every payout also needs the balance above the starting balance. Profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of high-impact news is capped at 0.5% of starting balance per cycle, first two payouts on $100K+ accounts are capped at $10,000 (5% per cycle on Instant Flex), and every payout carries a 3% processing fee.
