FundingPips (Funding Pips) Rules 2026: Every Plan, Sourced and Dated.

1 Step Flex, 2 Step Standard, 2 Step Pro, 2 Step Flex and Zero: profit targets, daily and max loss and how each is measured, minimum days, the 35% and 15% consistency scores, rewards, news, EAs, platforms, who can join and prices, each read from FundingPips' own help center and site on 2026-10-19. Five invented days on a $100,000 2 Step Standard account, animated, show where both loss floors sit.

Explainer cover titled FundingPips: where the daily floor sits. A line chart of five invented days on a $100,000 2 Step Standard account: the 00:00 baseline, the higher of balance and equity, rises to $104,000 on Day 2 and falls to $93,500 by Day 5; an orange daily floor steps 5% under each baseline, from $95,000 up to $98,800 and down to $88,825, and a red static Max Loss Limit stays at $90,000, which binds on Day 5 with $3,500 of room.

FundingPips rules cover five models on 2026-10-19: 1 Step Flex (a 12% target), 2 Step Standard (8% then 5%), 2 Step Pro (6% in each phase), 2 Step Flex (10% then 8%) and Zero, a Master Account with no evaluation. Each daily loss is measured from the higher of the day's opening balance or equity. The max loss is a static 6% to 12%, or 5% trailing on Zero.

Sizes run from $5K to $100K, with $200K on 2 Step Pro and Zero. No model has a time limit, but 30 days without a closed trade breaches any account. FundingPips supports MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader. Sources: the 1 Step Flex (edited 2026-10-09), 2 Step Standard (2026-10-16), 2 Step Pro, 2 Step Flex (both 2026-10-08) and Zero (2026-09-28) articles, and the platform guide (2026-09-09).

What changed at FundingPips in 2026?

New rules cover purchases and resets from September 28, 2026; Legacy Rules (edited 2026-09-27) keeps the old ones:

  • 1 Step Flex: the bi-weekly split fell from 85% to 80%, and the 3% daily loss became 2% or 3%.
  • 2 Step Flex: Phase 2's target rose from 6% to 8%, and the lower split fell from 85% to 80%.
  • 2 Step Standard gained a 3% daily option and dropped On Demand from its page.
  • The current model articles mention the Striking System only under the Monthly cycle ("for as long as the reward cycle is set to Monthly," say 1 Step Flex and 2 Step Standard); the Legacy Rules also applied it on 1 Step Flex's Bi-Weekly cycle and, above $25K, on 2 Step Standard's other cycles.
  • Zero's hard-breach cards no longer list a Risk Per Trade Idea limit.
  • Prime became invitation-only; legacy traders could also unlock it after a third reward.

The original 1 Step Model is "No Longer Offered."

One-time fees in US dollars, as the product pages showed them; FundingPips issues every account in USD. The lower daily loss costs less. Swap-Free and Swing add-ons each add 10%. Discounts change often. The Terms say "No refund applies"; the help center's one exception refunds the fee at a 2 Step Standard Master Account's fourth reward.

How FundingPips measures daily and max loss

"At the start of each trading day, the system records both balance and equity. Whichever is higher becomes the baseline," and equity may not fall the daily percentage below it, floating losses included. FundingPips' example: a $105K balance with $107K of equity puts a 5% floor at $101,650.

The day resets "at 00:00 Platform Time (UTC+3)," 21:00 UTC: 5:00 PM ET and 10:00 PM in London until the clocks change (4:00 PM ET from November 1, 9:00 PM in London from October 25), if UTC+3 holds all year as written.

On the four evaluation models the max loss "is a static floor; it never moves" (static vs trailing): $90K on a $100K 2 Step Standard. Touching either limit "even briefly" is a violation, even if the trade recovers.

The daily floor starts from the higher number.Five invented days on a $100,000 2 Step Standard account, 5% daily option: the daily floor sits 5% under each 00:00 baseline; the $90,000 Max Loss Limit doesn't move.

Day 5: 5% of $93,500 reaches $88,825, under the $90,000 Max Loss Limit. The static floor binds: $3,500 of room.

Illustrative balances, not market data: all five days are invented. The rules are FundingPips', as quoted in the daily and max loss section and read 2026-10-19: a daily floor 5% under the higher of the opening balance and equity at 00:00 platform time (UTC+3), and a static Max Loss Limit 10% under the starting account size.

Rule: daily floor = the 00:00 baseline (the higher of balance and equity) − 5% of it; Max Loss Limit = the starting size − 10% ($90,000), static. Equity touching either breaches the account, so the higher one binds.

Read as text
  1. Day 1 (invented): balance $100,000, equity $100,000 at 00:00; the baseline is the higher, $100,000. Daily floor $100,000 − $5,000 = $95,000; Max Loss Limit $90,000, static. The tighter is the daily floor, $5,000 away.
  2. Day 2 (invented): balance $102,000, equity $104,000 at 00:00; the baseline is the higher, $104,000. Daily floor $104,000 − $5,200 = $98,800; Max Loss Limit $90,000, static. The tighter is the daily floor, $5,200 away.
  3. Day 3 (invented): balance $101,500, equity $100,500 at 00:00; the baseline is the higher, $101,500. Daily floor $101,500 − $5,075 = $96,425; Max Loss Limit $90,000, static. The tighter is the daily floor, $5,075 away.
  4. Day 4 (invented): balance $97,000, equity $97,000 at 00:00; the baseline is the higher, $97,000. Daily floor $97,000 − $4,850 = $92,150; Max Loss Limit $90,000, static. The tighter is the daily floor, $4,850 away.
  5. Day 5 (invented): balance $93,500, equity $93,500 at 00:00; the baseline is the higher, $93,500. Daily floor $93,500 − $4,675 = $88,825; Max Loss Limit $90,000, static. The tighter is the Max Loss Limit, $3,500 away.

Breach: equity reaches the daily floor, $98,800. FundingPips closes the account the moment either limit is touched, even if the trade then recovers.

Baselines and floors from the film's five invented days, under FundingPips' 2 Step Standard rules (5% daily option) as quoted on this page, read 2026-10-19. The worst moment is equity, floating losses included, against the 00:00 baseline; FundingPips counts touching a limit as a breach. Slippage past a floor isn't modelled.

It opens on Day 2: a −$5,400 worst moment from the $104,000 baseline leaves $98,600, under the $98,800 floor.

Five invented days on a $100,000 2 Step Standard, 5% daily option; the Max Loss Limit stays at $90,000.

On Day 2 an open $2,000 profit lifts the floor to $98,800, $3,200 under the closed balance. On Day 3 an open $1,000 loss leaves the baseline at the balance, and equity starts $4,075 above the floor.

An open profit at midnight raises the day's floor; an open loss doesn't lower it.

FundingPips 2 Step rules: Standard, Pro and Flex

Targets count only with every trade closed.

  • 2 Step Flex's split: locked at purchase, 80% with 1 trading day per phase or 95% with 3 profitable days of 0.5%; "both cost the same."
  • Overnight and weekends: allowed in the evaluations. On a Master Account, "All open trades will be automatically closed by the system unless you have the Swing add-on" (News Trading & Weekend Holding): daily, 20:45 to 21:00 UTC from the first Sunday of March and 21:45 to 22:00 UTC from the first Sunday of November (4:45 to 5:00 PM ET, 9:45 to 10:00 PM in London for most of the year), without a breach.
  • Leverage and costs: 1:100 on forex, lower on other markets, with "temporary" dynamic leverage on a Master Account's metals, indices and energies. Forex and metals cost $5 a lot.
  • Resets: 12% off Phase 1, 10% off Phase 2 or 7% off a Master Account, within 7 days of a breach.

FundingPips 1 Step Flex rules

One phase with a 12% target, no minimum days and no time limit. You buy a 2% or 3% daily loss; the 12% max loss is static. Rewards come Bi-Weekly at 80% or Monthly at 100%, and other terms match the 2 Step models.

FundingPips Zero rules

Zero is a Master Account from day one:

  • Daily loss: 3%, from the higher of opening balance or equity.
  • Max Trailing Loss Limit, 5%: it "trails the highest recorded equity" and locks at the starting size once equity is 5% up. On $100K, a $102K peak puts it at $97,000; a $105K peak locks it at $100K.
  • Max Open Risk Limit, 1%: combined floating losses touching 1% of the starting size ($1K on $100K) breach the account.
  • News and weekends: trading or holding within 10 minutes of a restricted release or speech, or over a weekend, is a hard breach.
  • Rewards: 95% every 14 days, with a 15% consistency score, 7 profitable days of 0.25% in the rolling 30, a "3% Safety Cushion" (the first 3% of profit stays in), and no losing trade bigger than the biggest winner.

Forex leverage is 1:50 and commission $7 a lot.

FundingPips consistency score

A consistency rule caps the share of profit one day may carry (our guide). The five models have two, both on Master Accounts; no evaluation has one.

  • 35% on the Monthly cycle of the four evaluation models (evaluations bought from August 15, 2026), plus 7 profitable days of 0.5% or more; both reset after each reward. Weekly and Bi-Weekly cycles have no score.
  • 15% on Zero, on every request.

Going over blocks requests "until the score comes back down." Invented example: a $100,000 Monthly account with a $1,400 best day waits at $3,500 of profit (40%) and passes at $4,000 (35%), given 7 days of $500 or more. The consistency calculator runs either threshold.

On the Monthly cycle the account is under the Striking System, with a 1% trigger: each 1% loss on one trade idea is a warning; the second halves the split, the third cuts it to 20%, the fourth breaches the account.

FundingPips payout rules

FundingPips calls payouts rewards; the first comes 7, 14 or 30 days after the first Master trade on a Weekly, Bi-Weekly or Monthly cycle, and a missed date stays open.

  • Minimum: 1% of the account, split included ($1,000 on $100K); $500 by Rise or bank transfer. We found no maximum.
  • Process: close every trade and pending order, wait 15 minutes and request. FundingPips takes "1-3 working days," and the money 1 to 2 more.
  • Scaling: all your Evaluation and Master Accounts share a $400K maximum. Beyond it, FundingPips invites some traders to a Prime Account (edited 2026-09-30): 80% daily rewards, MT5 only, scaling to $2M.

Invented example: a $100,000 2 Step Pro on the Weekly cycle closes day 7 up $3,000 and receives $2,400 at 80%. Sources: Reward Methods (edited 2026-09-28), Level Up Your Trading (2026-10-07).

FundingPips news trading and weekend holding

The evaluations have "no restrictions on holding trades during news events," but "Purposely trading news in both evaluation and master phase is prohibited and will lead to account closure." FundingPips gives no test for "purposely."

On a Master Account, a trade opened or closed within 5 minutes either side of high-impact news on the affected currency, tagged Restricted on the dashboard calendar, loses its whole profit unless it was opened 5 hours or more earlier. It's a soft breach, but a deduction that crosses a loss limit is yours. Source: News Trading & Weekend Holding (edited 2026-10-08).

FundingPips EAs and copy trading

  • Third-party EAs: "permitted only when used strictly as a trade or risk manager"; any other use brings "denial of the evaluation or reward and closure of the account."
  • Your own EA: "full automation is permitted with proof of ownership," such as uncompiled .mq5 or .mq4 source; "A compiled binary on its own is not proof."
  • VPN and VPS: "Connecting to a VPN or VPS while accessing your trading account is not permitted," yet the same article accepts a "VPS invoice" as proof of location. FundingPips doesn't say whether your own EA may run on a VPS; we found no line that settles it.
  • Copy trading: allowed between your own FundingPips accounts and out to an external account. "Copying inbound from any source constitutes third-party account management and will result in account termination," and copying between different people is banned too.
  • Banned strategies: "gap trading, high-frequency trading, server spamming, latency arbitrage, toxic trading flow, hedging, long-short arbitrage, reverse arbitrage, tick scalping, server execution exploits, opposite account trading, and churning and burning." Grid and martingale aren't named; the Terms' closest line bans "Repeated attempts to recover losses through increasing exposure."

Who can sign up for FundingPips?

You must be 18 or older, with one verified identity per trader. Get Started (edited 2026-09-24) lists "Iran · Vietnam · United Arab Emirates (UAE)"; the site footer excludes "countries on the FATF and EU/UN sanctions lists, Vietnam, and UAE."

Neither list names the US, the UK, Canada or Australia. The platform guide adds, on MT5, "United States is NOT currently supported"; "US residents and citizens are NOT able to use cTrader"; and "US and Canada residents can use Match-Trader." That leaves US residents on Match-Trader, and the Prime Account FAQ says the MT5-only account "cannot be opened" from the US. UK, Canadian and Australian residents can use all three platforms, as far as FundingPips publishes. None of this is legal or tax advice.

Where do FundingPips' own pages disagree?

  1. 2 Step Standard's rewards. The model article offers Weekly 60%, Bi-Weekly 80% and Monthly 100%; Compare Account Models (edited 2026-09-28) adds "On Demand 90%"; the product page drops Weekly.
  2. The Striking System. The homepage says "No Striking System"; every model article applies it to Monthly-cycle accounts.
  3. Zero's reset. 20% off on the Zero card and in Level Up Your Trading; "A 7% discounted reset" in the Zero article's inactivity FAQ.
  4. Zero's per-trade limit. Its breach list has none, yet the article still lists "max risk per trade" with 3% and 2% examples.
  5. Swap-Free. All four evaluation-model articles put it on all three platforms; the 1 Step Flex FAQ says it "is only available on MetaTrader 5," and Get Started prices it as "Swap-Free MT5."
  6. Copy trading. The Terms say "Copy trading or account management by a third-party vendor will also result in account termination"; the help center allows copying between your own accounts.
  7. Restricted countries. Three in the help center; the footer adds the FATF and EU/UN sanctions lists.

Where we sit

We're not affiliated with FundingPips and earn nothing if you buy from it; no link here is a referral link. We sell the Prop Firm Challenge Toolkit, a TradingView indicator that turns the rule numbers and balance you enter into daily-loss and drawdown buffers. It has no FundingPips preset, so use its Custom rules. It doesn't read FundingPips' dashboard, which is the source of truth. The balance you type is both its day's start and the high a trailing limit follows, so it can't see losses you've already closed today or an earlier, higher close: keep Current balance at the session's starting balance and put the day's running P&L, closed and open, in Open floating P/L.

Frequently asked questions

What are the FundingPips rules?

On 2026-10-19 FundingPips sells five models: 1 Step Flex (a 12% target), 2 Step Standard (8% then 5%), 2 Step Pro (6% in each phase), 2 Step Flex (10% then 8%) and Zero, a Master Account with no evaluation. The daily loss is 2% to 5% of the higher of the day's opening balance or equity; the max loss is a static 6% to 12%, or 5% trailing on Zero. No model has a time limit.

How does the FundingPips daily loss limit work?

At 00:00 platform time (UTC+3) FundingPips records your balance and equity and takes the higher as the day's baseline. Equity may not fall more than the model's daily percentage below it, floating losses included. FundingPips' example: $105K of balance and $107K of equity put a 5% floor at $101,650. Touching the floor, even briefly, breaches the account.

Is the FundingPips max loss static or trailing?

Static on the four evaluation models, measured from the starting size: 12% on 1 Step Flex and 2 Step Flex, 10% on 2 Step Standard, 6% on 2 Step Pro. Zero's 5% limit trails the highest equity and locks at the starting size once equity is 5% up: on $100K, a $102K peak puts it at $97,000.

Does FundingPips have a consistency rule?

Not in the evaluations of its five models. On a Master Account, the Monthly 100% cycle of 1 Step Flex and the three 2 Step models needs a 35% consistency score and 7 profitable days of 0.5% or more, for evaluations bought from August 15, 2026; Zero needs 15% on every request. Going over blocks the request until more profit brings the share down; it doesn't breach the account.

How often does FundingPips pay out?

On a Weekly cycle 7 days after the first Master trade (60% on 2 Step Standard, 80% on 2 Step Pro), Bi-Weekly every 14 days (80%, or 95% on 2 Step Flex's 95% option and on Zero) and Monthly every 30 days at 100%. The minimum request is 1% of the account size, and processing takes 1 to 3 working days.

Can you trade news or hold over the weekend with FundingPips?

The evaluations allow both, though purposely trading news is banned on every account. On a Master Account, profit from a trade opened or closed within 5 minutes of restricted high-impact news is deducted unless the trade opened 5 hours earlier, and open trades are closed every day without the 10% Swing add-on. On Zero, a 10-minute news window and any weekend position are hard breaches.

Does FundingPips allow EAs and copy trading?

Third-party EAs only as a trade or risk manager; your own EA may automate fully with proof of ownership, such as the .mq5 source. Copying between your own FundingPips accounts, or out to an external account, is allowed; copying into a FundingPips account from any outside source, a signal service included, is banned. A VPN or VPS connection to the trading account is not permitted.

Can US, UK, Canadian and Australian residents join FundingPips?

None of the four is named in FundingPips' restricted-country lists, which name Iran, Vietnam and the UAE and point to the FATF and EU/UN sanctions lists. But FundingPips' platform guide says MT5 doesn't support the United States and US residents can't use cTrader, which leaves US traders on Match-Trader, and FundingPips' Prime Account FAQ says the MT5-only Prime Account cannot be opened from the US.
