Lucid Trading Payout Rules: What You Can Withdraw Today, Plan by Plan

Pick your plan, size and payout number, set your balance and this cycle's days, and see the most you can request today and the exact rule in the way. Every limit is read from Lucid's own pages on 2026-10-08.

PL · 8 min read
Explainer cover titled Lucid payouts: same trades, four rulebooks. A bar chart of one invented 10-day cycle on a 50K account climbs from $50,000 to $54,300 past a dashed $52,100 buffer line, with flags over the day each plan first allows a payout: Daily $550 on day 4, Flex $1,475 on day 5, Pro $1,350 on day 8.
Every public Lucid plan has a $500 minimum request and a 90/10 split. The rest depends on the plan. LucidPro wants a profit goal, a best day of at most 40% of the cycle's profit and a balance above its buffer; you can take the balance above the buffer, up to the cap. LucidFlex wants 5 days at its minimum daily profit; you can take 50% of profit, up to the cap. LucidDaily pays everything above its buffer, any day you qualify. LucidDirect wants a larger profit goal and a best day of at most 20%. LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect stop at Payout 5.

3 rules block it.

  • Profit goal $500: met. $1,750 this cycle.
  • Best day under 40%: not met. $900 is 51.43% of $1,750: $500 more profit, on days under $900.
  • Above the $52,100 buffer: not met. $51,750 is $350 below it.
  • $500 minimum request: not met. A $500 request needs a $52,600 balance: $850 more.
  • 3 profitable days (plan card): met. 4 days so far.
  • Payout 1 of 5: met. 4 payouts left after this one.

Starts on the hub post's sample Friday (50K LucidPro, invented trades). The rules are Lucid's, read on 2026-10-08; where its pages disagree, the check takes the stricter reading (the notes below say which). It reads what you enter, not your Lucid dashboard, which is the source of truth.

It opens on the rules post's sample Friday: 50K LucidPro, $1,750 of profit, a $900 best day. Two rules block it. The best day is 51.43% of the cycle, so the 40% rule wants $500 more profit on smaller days. And a $500 request needs a $52,600 balance, $850 away. Switch the plan to see the same account under each rulebook.

An invented cycle, not market data: the P&L is made up; the rules are Lucid's, read on 2026-10-08, for a first payout on 50K accounts.

Rule: LucidPro: a $500 goal, best day under 40%, above the $52,100 buffer, 3 profitable days. LucidFlex: 5 days of $150 or more, net profit, 50% of profit up to $2,000. LucidDaily: above the $52,100 buffer, net profit. LucidDirect: a $3,000 goal, best day under 20%, 5 profitable days. Every plan: a $500 minimum.

Day 1 decides most of it. After a $1,300 day, LucidPro's 40% rule needs $3,250 of cycle profit and LucidDirect's 20% rule needs $6,500. LucidDaily and LucidFlex don't look at the best day. LucidDaily pays as soon as the balance is $500 over its $52,100 buffer (on day 3 it's only $150 over). LucidFlex pays on its fifth day of $150 or more: 50% of $2,950. LucidPro waits until $1,300 is 37.68% of $3,450, then pays the balance above the buffer. LucidDirect meets its $3,000 goal on day 7 but never gets under 20%.

One big day costs you a LucidPro or LucidDirect payout, not a LucidFlex or LucidDaily one.

The payout rules, plan by plan

$150,000$1,000$154,600$155,100$3,000$3,500
  • Consistency: "Your largest single-day profit must be no more than 40% of your total profit during the payout cycle." Accounts bought or reset before 11/28/2025 at 3:00 PM EST stay at 35%.
  • Buffer: the starting balance plus the initial Max Loss Limit plus $100. You must be above it, and "You can not take payout from the buffer balance." So the most you can request is the balance above the buffer, up to the cap. Lucid also prints the balance for the full cap: $27,100 / $54,100 / $105,600 / $157,600 on payout 1, then $27,600 / $54,600 / $106,100 / $158,100.
  • Days: the plan card says 3 days to payout. The help center gives no day count.
  • The goal, the 40% and the buffer check reset after every approved payout.

LucidFlex

No buffer and no consistency rule. Each cycle needs 5 days with at least the minimum daily profit, and positive net profit ("even just $1").

AccountMinimum daily profit, on 5 daysMax per payout
$25,000$10050% of profit, up to $1,000
$50,000$15050% of profit, up to $2,000
$100,000$20050% of profit, up to $2,500
$150,000$25050% of profit, up to $3,000
  • The cap doesn't grow with later payouts.
  • At 50%, a $500 request takes $1,000 of profit.
  • After you request, "your MLL automatically adjusts to the Locked MLL Balance", the starting balance plus $100, and your scaling tier can drop. Our Lucid drawdown simulator shows what that does to your room.

LucidDaily

You can request a payout every day you qualify. You need a balance above the buffer and positive net profit since your last payout.

AccountBufferBalance for a $500 requestMaximum daily profit
$25,000$26,100$26,600$6,000

$150,000$154,600$155,100$12,000
  • There's no cap per request: the maximum is "the amount of sim profits built above the buffer".
  • There's no payout count either. Instead, a day at the maximum daily profit moves you live automatically.

  • Consistency: "Your largest single-day profit must be no more than 20% of your total profit during the payout cycle."
  • Days: the plan card says 5 days to payout. The 20% rule asks for that anyway: five equal days put the best day at exactly 20%.
  • Lucid publishes no buffer for LucidDirect. The check keeps a request inside the cycle's profit and above the Max Loss Limit; with these goals, neither limit bites.

What every plan shares

  • $500 minimum request.
  • 90/10 split. One exception: LucidPro accounts bought or reset before 11/28/2025 at 3:00 PM EST "are still eligible for 100% on the first $10k".
  • No payout window. Request any day you qualify. Approved payouts "will be disbursed to your payment method within 2 business days", and requests "are final once submitted".
  • Trade as if it's gone. A trade that drops you into the buffer before approval can get the request denied. Lucid's advice: "trade as if the payout amount has already been removed from your balance."

After Payout 5

LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect stop at Payout 5; Lucid's live-program page says Payout 5 "represents the maximum payout level". After it, Lucid's risk team decides whether you move to a live account. What changes there is in Lucid Trading's live account rules. Where Lucid's pages disagree

  1. "No more than" or "below"? LucidPro's payouts page says "no more than 40%", its consistency page "below 40%". LucidDirect's pages do the same with 20%. The check blocks at exactly 40% and 20%.
  2. LucidFlex: balance or profit? The payouts text says "50% of their account balance", the table on the same page "50% of Profit up to" the cap. Neither says which profit. The check takes 50% of the smaller of this cycle's profit and the account's profit.
  3. "No simulated payout caps". The LucidPro and LucidDirect funded pages say so; their payout pages print a cap for every payout. We go by the payout pages.
  4. Day counts. The plan cards give LucidPro 3 days and LucidDirect 5; the help center gives none. The check counts days with a profit.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum payout on Lucid Trading?

$500 on every public plan: LucidPro, LucidFlex, LucidDaily and LucidDirect. On LucidPro and LucidDaily your balance must sit at least $500 above the buffer, so $52,600 on a 50K account. On LucidFlex, where a request is 50% of profit, it takes $1,000 of profit.

How much can you withdraw from a Lucid funded account?

It depends on the plan and the payout number. LucidPro: the balance above the buffer, up to $1,000 to $3,000 on payout 1 and $1,500 to $3,500 after. LucidFlex: 50% of profit, up to $1,000 to $3,000. LucidDaily: everything above the buffer, with no cap per request. LucidDirect: up to $1,000 to $3,000 on payouts 1 to 3 and $1,000 to $3,500 on payouts 4 and 5.

What is the Lucid Trading payout buffer?

On LucidPro and LucidDaily it's the starting balance plus the initial Max Loss Limit plus $100: $26,100, $52,100, $103,100 or $154,600 on the 25K to 150K accounts. Your balance must be above it to request a payout, and you can't withdraw it. LucidFlex has no buffer, and Lucid publishes none for LucidDirect.

How many payouts can you take from a Lucid account?

Five on LucidPro, LucidFlex and LucidDirect: Lucid calls Payout 5 the maximum payout level, and after it its risk team reviews you for a live account. LucidDaily has no payout count; a day at its maximum daily profit, $6,000 to $12,000 by size, moves you live instead.

Does Lucid's consistency rule apply to payouts?

On LucidPro and LucidDirect, yes: your best day must be no more than 40% (LucidPro) or 20% (LucidDirect) of the cycle's profit, and the rule resets after each payout. LucidPro accounts bought or reset before 11/28/2025 stay at 35%. LucidFlex and LucidDaily funded accounts have no consistency rule.
