The Tradeify consistency rule caps your best day as a share of your total profit, and a share at or below the limit passes. A Select evaluation allows 40%, or 50% with a paid add-on, and drops the rule once funded. Growth has none in the evaluation and 35% on every funded payout. Lightning Funded needs 20% for the first payout, 25% for the second and 30% after that.

$3,000 profit goal
Profit needed: $3,216.70
Your $643.34 best day needs $643.34 ÷ 0.20 = $3,216.70 of profit, more than the $3,000 profit goal. You have $2,570.14: $646.56 more, on later days of no more than $643.34: at least 2 more days.
- Profit goal $3,000, payout 1: not met. $2,570.14 so far
- Best day at or below 20% of profit: not met. $643.34 is 25.03% of $2,570.14
Starts on Tradeify's own example: a $643.34 best day on $2,570.14 of profit, under Lightning's 20% rule (Tradeify names no size; 25K and 50K give the same answer). Rules read on 2026-10-18. Each day you enter is one trading day's P&L since the last payout, or since the start. Growth evaluations and funded Select accounts have no consistency rule, so they aren't here. The check doesn't know your drawdown, daily loss limit or payout cap; your Tradeify dashboard is the source of truth.
It opens on Tradeify's own Lightning example. A $643.34 best day under the 20% rule needs $643.34 ÷ 0.20 = $3,216.70 of profit, so $2,570.14 is $646.56 short, to be made "while ensuring no single day exceeds $643.34." Switch the plan, the size or the payout number, or enter your days one at a time.

Which Tradeify accounts have a consistency rule?
Three plans have one, at different stages. Select has it only in the evaluation and Growth only once funded; Lightning Funded checks it on every payout.
| Account | Rule | What it compares | When it counts | If the share is over |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Select evaluation, 25K to 300K | 40%, or 50% with the add-on (not on 300K) | Best day ÷ total profit in the evaluation | To pass, with the profit target | Keep trading; the profit needed rises to best day ÷ 0.40 (or 0.50) |
| Select Flex and Select Daily, funded | None | Nothing | Not applicable | No limit; Flex pays every 5 winning days, Daily above a buffer |
| Growth evaluation | None | Nothing | Not applicable | No limit; you can pass on the target in 1 trading day |
| Growth funded | 35% | Best day ÷ profit since the last approved payout | Every payout request | No request until profit reaches best day ÷ 0.35 |
| Lightning Funded, bought after September 12, 2025, 8:00 AM ET | 20%, 25%, then 30% | Best day ÷ profit since the last payout | Every payout request, with that payout's profit goal | No request until profit reaches best day ÷ the rule |
| Lightning Funded, bought before | 20% on every payout | The same | The same | The same |
In Tradeify's words, "Select Evaluation Accounts must follow a 40% Consistency Rule during the evaluation phase only. There is no consistency rule for Select accounts in funded mode," and "Growth Sim Funded Accounts must follow a 35% Consistency Rule." The Growth evaluation "has no consistency rule." Lightning's cut-off, 8:00 AM ET on September 12, 2025, was 12:00 UTC and 1:00 PM in London.

How does Tradeify count your best day?
A consistency rule caps how much of your profit one day can carry; our consistency rule guide covers the idea across firms. Tradeify's formula divides the best day by the rule: "Biggest End of Day PnL / Consistency %". Its example, "$1,000 / 0.20 = $5,000," is the total profit a $1,000 day needs under 20%. Five details decide what goes into it.
- At or below passes. "Any percentage at or below your limit meets the rule - 19.97% meets a 20% rule, and exactly 20.00% meets it too. Only a figure strictly above your limit fails."
- A day is a trading day. Tradeify follows CME hours, 6:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET: 22:00 to 21:00 UTC while New York is on daylight time, 23:00 to 22:00 UTC in winter, and 11 PM to 10 PM in London for most of the year. Lightning's policy says profit "is calculated and determined upon account reconciliation," between about 5:00 and 6:00 PM ET, and Growth's puts reconciliation in the same hour. The dashboard's share "updates in real-time" as you trade.
- Commissions stay out. The rule reads: "no single day's profit (commissions are not included in profit) should exceed a set percentage."
- A losing day raises the share. It lowers the total and leaves the best day alone. Tradeify's example: a $1,000 best day on $1,500 is 66.7%, and "a $300 losing day would drop your total to $1,200, pushing your consistency to 83.3% (worse)."
- A payout starts a new count. The share covers profit "up to the payout request date," and "After an approved payout, the consistency % will reset." On Lightning the goal resets too: "Leftover profit from the previous cycle does not carry over."

How big can your best day be at Tradeify?
As big as you like, but past a line it raises the profit you need. The line is the rule's share of the profit the account needs anyway. Below it, the target or goal sets the finish; above it, the finish moves to best day ÷ the rule.
| Size | Select evaluation, 40% / 50% | Growth funded, payout 1 | Lightning, payout 1 / 2 / 3+ |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $600 / $750 | $525 | $300 / $250 / $300 |
| 50K | $1,200 / $1,500 | $1,050 | $600 / $500 / $600 |
| 100K | $2,400 / $3,000 | $1,575 | $1,200 / $875 / $1,050 |
| 150K | $3,600 / $4,500 | $2,275 | $1,800 / $1,125 / $1,350 |
| 300K | $5,600 / not offered | No 300K | No 300K |
This is our arithmetic on Tradeify's numbers: the Select target ($1,500, $3,000, $6,000, $9,000 and $14,000), the profit that takes a Growth account from its start to the first payout's minimum balance ($26,500, $53,000, $104,500 and $156,500), and the Lightning goals ($1,500 to $9,000 for payout 1, $1,000 to $4,500 after) for accounts bought after September 12, 2025. Tradeify's own Lightning example lands on the same cell: on 150K, payout 2's "highest single profitable day cannot exceed $1,125 ($4,500 × 25%)." Select 50K accounts bought before Tradeify's new dashboard keep a $2,500 target, "including on reset," so their 40% line is $1,000.
A bigger day is allowed. On a Select 50K, "a $1,300 day needs $3,250 in total profit," $250 past the target.
The rule also sets a floor on profitable days, since no day can carry more than its share: at least 5 at 20%, 4 at 25% or 30%, 3 at 35% or 40%, and 2 at 50%. Tradeify says the same in its own words: "at least 5 profitable days" under 20%, "at least 3 profitable days" for Select, "as little as 2 trading days" with the add-on.
On a Select 50K evaluation, any day over $1,200 lifts the profit you need above the $3,000 target.A Tradeify Select 50K evaluation at 40% and at 50%
Invented days on a 50K Select evaluation, read at both limits (the drawdown is left out):
| Day | P&L | Total profit | Best day ÷ total | Needed at 40% | Needed at 50% |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | +$1,400 | $1,400 | 100.00% | $3,500 | $3,000 |
| 2 | +$500 | $1,900 | 73.68% | $3,500 | $3,000 |
| 3 | −$300 | $1,600 | 87.50% | $3,500 | $3,000 |
| 4 | +$700 | $2,300 | 60.87% | $3,500 | $3,000 |
| 5 | +$800 | $3,100 | 45.16% | $3,500 | passes |
| 6 | +$500 | $3,600 | 38.89% | passes | passes |
Day 1 decides it. At 40% the line is $1,200, so the $1,400 day lifts the profit needed to $1,400 ÷ 0.40 = $3,500. With the add-on the line is $1,500 and the target stays at $3,000. Day 5 clears the target at 45.16%, which passes with the add-on and leaves the 40% account $400 short. Day 6 passes both at 38.89%.
On 2026-10-18 the add-on cost $40 more at list on 50K ($205 against $165), or $28 more with the GEMS code then running ($144 against $116). We haven't tested which limit suits any strategy.
A Tradeify Lightning 50K account, payout 1 and payout 2
An invented 50K Lightning Funded account bought after September 12, 2025. Payout 1 needs the $3,000 goal at 20%:
| Day | P&L | Profit so far | Best day ÷ profit | Profit needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | +$700 | $700 | 100.00% | $3,500 |
| 2 | +$600 | $1,300 | 53.85% | $3,500 |
| 3 | +$650 | $1,950 | 35.90% | $3,500 |
| 4 | +$500 | $2,450 | 28.57% | $3,500 |
| 5 | +$600 | $3,050 | 22.95% | $3,500 |
| 6 | +$550 | $3,600 | 19.44% | passes |
The $700 first day is $100 over the $600 line, so it needs $700 ÷ 0.20 = $3,500, $500 above the goal. Day 5 clears $3,000 at 22.95% and still can't request; day 6 can, at 19.44%. Payout 1 on 50K is capped at $2,000, and you receive 90% of what you request.
Then the count starts again from $0, with a $2,000 goal at 25%, on more invented days:
| Day | P&L | Profit since the payout | Best day ÷ profit | Profit needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | +$500 | $500 | 100.00% | $2,000 |
| 2 | +$450 | $950 | 52.63% | $2,000 |
| 3 | +$400 | $1,350 | 37.04% | $2,000 |
| 4 | +$550 | $1,900 | 28.95% | $2,200 |
| 5 | +$300 | $2,200 | 25.00% | passes |
Day 4's $550 is over the new $500 line, so payout 2 needs $2,200. Day 5 lands exactly on 25.00%, which meets the rule. Payout 3 would need $2,000 again at 30%.
After payout 1, a Lightning 50K account starts again at $0, needing $2,000 at 25% instead of $3,000 at 20%.What does Tradeify's 50% add-on change?
It raises a Select evaluation's limit "from 40% to 50%, allowing a single day to account for up to half of your total profit — meaning you can pass your evaluation in as little as 2 trading days instead of 3." It's bought "at purchase" and covers the evaluation only.
| Size | Select at 40% | With the 50% add-on | Reset at 40% / 50% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $109 | $135 | $75 / $90 |
| 50K | $165 | $205 | $109 / $135 |
| 100K | $265 | $329 | $169 / $209 |
| 150K | $369 | $459 | $239 / $299 |
| 300K | $349 | Not offered | No resets |
These are list prices from the Pricing Reference; the plan cards show the same evaluation prices for 25K to 150K.

Does breaking Tradeify's consistency rule fail your account?
No. "Your account will not fail or be penalized for having high consistency," and the rule "does NOT restrict your trading in any way." A Select evaluation over the line keeps trading toward the higher profit needed, and a funded payout waits until the share is back under. Breaching the drawdown does fail an account; the guide linked above covers it with a breach check.
Meeting the rule doesn't release a payout by itself. Tradeify lists what still applies: "your profit goal / minimum balance, minimum profitable trading days (5 for Growth), the 10-second rule, and the maximum payout cap for that payout number."
Where do Tradeify's own pages disagree?
- Consistency once funded. The home page says "No consistency once funded." Its own Growth and Lightning cards show 35% and 20%, as does the help center. It holds for Select.
- Balance or profit. The formula says "Total Balance Needed"; the same page later says "Total profits required." A $5,000 result can't be a balance on any Tradeify account, so we read it as profit.
- Trading days or profitable days. The Select evaluation article says "you cannot pass in 1-2 days even if you hit the profit target early," while its FAQ says the add-on "makes it possible to pass in 2 days." The SELECT vs Growth article says both "at least 3 trading days" and "at least 3 profitable days." The arithmetic agrees with profitable days: at 40%, a losing day adds a trading day and no help.
- Add-on reset fees. The Pricing Reference gives $90, $135, $209 and $299 for 50% resets. The plan cards with the 50% switch on still show $75, $109, $169 and $239.
- Lightning's headline. Its payout policy lists the requirement as "Meet the 20% Consistency Rule", directly above the line that sets 25% and 30% for later payouts.

- What "commissions are not included in profit" does in numbers; Tradeify gives no example with commissions.
- How the dashboard rounds the share. Tradeify's own Growth example prints 34.7% for $4,000 of $11,500, which is 34.78%.
- How the "Sim Funded Consistency Score" is measured. Select traders need one "below 40%" for a 1.5x multiplier on the Elite Accelerator reward pool, though funded Select accounts have no consistency rule.

Frequently asked questions
What is Tradeify's consistency rule?
Your best day's profit must be at or below a set share of your total profit before you pass or request a payout: 40% in a Select evaluation (50% with the add-on), 35% on every Growth funded payout, and on Lightning Funded 20% for the first payout, 25% for the second and 30% after that. A share exactly on the limit passes; only a figure strictly above it fails.
Does Tradeify have a consistency rule on funded accounts?
On Growth and Lightning, yes; on Select, no. Funded Select accounts, Flex or Daily, have none. Growth funded payouts need 35%, and Lightning Funded accounts bought after September 12, 2025 need 20%, 25%, then 30% (older ones keep 20% on every payout). Tradeify's home page says "No consistency once funded", but its plan cards and help center show the Growth and Lightning rules.
How do you calculate Tradeify's consistency rule?
Divide your best day by the rule to get the profit you need. Tradeify's own example: a $643.34 best day under 20% needs $643.34 ÷ 0.20 = $3,216.70, so $2,570.14 of profit is $646.56 short, to be made on later days of no more than $643.34. You also need the target or profit goal, such as $3,000 on a Select 50K evaluation or a Lightning 50K first payout.
Does breaking the consistency rule fail a Tradeify account?
No. Tradeify says your account will not fail or be penalized for having high consistency. A Select evaluation keeps going, and once your best day is over 40% of the target, it needs profit of at least your best day ÷ 0.40. A funded payout waits until the share is back within the limit. Breaching the drawdown is what fails an account.
Do losing days count in Tradeify's consistency rule?
Yes, through the total. A loss lowers your total profit and leaves your best day alone, so the share rises. Tradeify's example: a $1,000 best day on $1,500 of profit is 66.7%; a $300 losing day makes it 83.3%.
What does Tradeify's 50% consistency add-on do?
It raises a Select evaluation's limit from 40% to 50%, so you can pass in as few as 2 trading days instead of 3. You buy it with the evaluation: $135, $205, $329 and $459 at list for 25K to 150K, against $109, $165, $265 and $369 at 40%. It isn't offered on the Select 300K, and funded Select accounts have no rule either way.
Does the Tradeify consistency rule reset after a payout?
Yes. Tradeify counts profit up to the payout request date and resets the share after an approved payout. On Lightning the profit goal resets too and the limit steps up: on 50K, $3,000 at 20% for payout 1, then $2,000 at 25% for payout 2.
