MyFundedFutures Rules 2026: Every Plan, Sourced and Dated.

Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro, Builder and the Studio plans: profit targets, the end-of-day and intraday trailing Max Loss Limit and where it locks, the 30% and 50% consistency rules, payout buffers, timing, splits and caps, news, automation and prices, each read from MyFundedFutures' own help center and plan pages on 2026-10-17. One sample week, animated, shows a funded account's floor trail, lock and first payout.

PL · 10 min read
Explainer cover titled MyFundedFutures: where the floor locks. A line chart of a sample week on a 50K Rapid sim funded account: the balance starts at $0 and rises to $2,800, each day's peak drawn as a whisker above its close; a red Max Loss Limit steps up from −$2,000 to −$800 and −$400 under the highest peak, then locks at $100, labelled, once Thursday's peak reaches $2,200. A dashed gold line marks the $2,100 buffer.

MyFundedFutures sells five plan lines, each a one-time fee with no activation fee: Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro, Builder and Studio. Standard evaluations trail a $1,000–$4,500 Max Loss Limit at each close and lock it at the starting balance plus $100; Studio's is static. Evaluation consistency is 50% on Rapid and Pro, 30% on Rapid EOD, none on Builder, Pro's One Day add-on or Studio. Rapid, Pro and Builder pay above a buffer; Rapid pays daily at 90/10.

MyFundedFutures calls the floor the Max Loss Limit (MLL). Evaluations bought since August 25, 2026 are one-time purchases with "no renewal cycle." The Core and Flex plan pages read "That page doesn't exist (yet)," the Core and Scale help articles return not found, and Flex is filed under Legacy plans. The One Day add-on is "For a limited time"; Studio has a daily purchase cap.

MyFundedFutures drawdown: where the Max Loss Limit locks

Every standard evaluation uses an end-of-day trailing MLL: "If you increase your profit by $1.00, then your minimum account balance will also rise by $1.00." It "locks in at $100 plus the initial starting balance," and open losses count: "if an open position dips your account balance below the minimum account balance, your evaluation attempt will fail."

EvaluationMLLFloor at the startLocks atOnce a close reaches
25K$1,000$24,000$25,100$26,100

150K$4,500$145,500$150,100$154,600

MyFundedFutures prints the 25K Rapid lock and the balances that lock a 50K, 100K and 150K account; the other cells apply its rule. On a 50K the floor can lock before you pass: the $52,100 close comes before the $53,000 target balance.

Rapid, Rapid EOD and Builder sim funded accounts start at a $0 balance, so "the balance can go negative before the MLL trails up to breakeven": the floor starts at −$1,000 to −$4,500 and locks at $100. What it trails depends on the plan:

  • Rapid, intraday: "Your Max Loss trails your account equity high-water mark during the day," open profit included. A gain you give back still lifts the floor.
  • Rapid EOD and Builder, end of day: "It does not move intraday – only at the close of each trading session."
  • Pro, end of day: the plan page says the MLL "continues to trail" until your first payout; after it, the MLL "moves to $50,100 and remains static" on 50K ($100,100 and $150,100 on 100K and 150K).
  • Studio, static: "set when the account starts and never moves."
Where the floor locks: Rapid vs Rapid EOD.The post's sample week on a 50K sim funded account from $0: Rapid's floor trails each day's peak, open profit included; Rapid EOD's trails each close. Both lock at $100.

Mon: close $2,800, $700 over the buffer: $630 to you at 90/10.

Illustrative balances, not market data: the trades and each day's peak are invented. The rules are MyFundedFutures', as quoted in the drawdown and payout sections and read 2026-10-17: a $2,000 intraday trailing Max Loss Limit from a $0 start that locks at $100, and payouts of at least $500 above the $2,100 buffer at 90/10.

Rule: floor = the highest balance so far, open profit included, − $2,000, never above $100: it locks once the high reaches $2,100. Above the $2,100 buffer you can request $500 or more and keep 90%.

  1. Start: $0. The Max Loss Limit starts $2,000 below, at −$2,000. Payouts start above the $2,100 buffer.
  2. Mon: the day peaks at $1,200, open profit included, and closes +$600 at $600. Floor after it: −$800, $1,400 under the close. An end-of-day trail would sit at −$1,400.
  3. Tue: the day peaks at $1,000, open profit included, and closes −$300 at $300. Floor after it: −$800, $1,100 under the close.
  4. Wed: the day peaks at $1,600, open profit included, and closes +$900 at $1,200. Floor after it: −$400, $1,600 under the close.
  5. Thu: the day peaks at $2,200, open profit included, and closes +$700 at $1,900. Floor after it: $100 (locked), $1,800 under the close.
  6. Fri: the day peaks at $2,600, open profit included, and closes +$500 at $2,400. Floor after it: $100 (locked), $2,300 under the close. $300 over the buffer: under the $500 minimum request.
  7. Mon: the day peaks at $3,000, open profit included, and closes +$400 at $2,800. Floor after it: $100 (locked), $2,700 under the close. $700 over the buffer: $630 to you at 90/10.

session startMax Loss Limit+$1,200−$800-3,000-2,0001,0000-800

Intraday trail: the +$1,200 peak lifts the Max Loss Limit to −$800. Breach: equity reaches the Max Loss Limit, −$800. Equity below it, open trades included, breaches the account.

Session starts and floors from the film's sample week: invented trades, MyFundedFutures' rules as quoted on this page, read 2026-10-17. Rapid: the floor trails the day's high-water mark as it happens, open profit included. Rapid EOD: it moves only at the close. Neither has a daily loss limit. MFFU's pages breach an account below the floor; this check also counts touching it. Slippage isn't modelled.

It opens on the invented week's Monday: a +$1,200 run-up lifts Rapid's floor to −$800, so a −$1,000 worst moment breaches. On Rapid EOD the same day survives with $1,000 to spare, because that floor waits for the close.

The sample week behind both: invented trades on a 50K sim funded account, the same days on Rapid and Rapid EOD.

Tuesday shows the cost of the intraday trail: $1,100 of room at Rapid's close against $1,700 on Rapid EOD, because Monday's open profit lifted only Rapid's floor. The upside comes on Thursday, when the $2,200 peak locks Rapid's floor a day early.

Our calculator can't model this: the trailing drawdown calculator trails a percentage of the peak with no lock. By hand, the floor is the lower of (your high − $2,000) and $100, your high being the highest close on Rapid EOD and the highest moment on Rapid (static vs trailing). Tradovate shows it as "DRAWDOWN AUTO LIQ LEVEL".

MyFundedFutures consistency rule

The evaluation rule: "no single day's profit should exceed 30% or 50% of your total evaluation profits made." It's 50% on Rapid and Pro, 30% on Rapid EOD, and there's none on Builder, the Pro One Day add-on or Studio. Breaking it "does not breach the account"; you "trade additional days until consistency is met."

MyFundedFutures' 50K example: a $3,000 target allows a best day of $1,500. Past that, you need your best day ÷ 0.5, or ÷ 0.3 on Rapid EOD. An invented Rapid EOD 50K evaluation with a $1,200 best day needs $4,000, $1,000 past the target; under a 50% rule the $3,000 target would stand. Run your own days in our consistency calculator.

In the invented example, on a 30% rule one $1,200 day moves a $3,000 target to $4,000.

Minimum trading days: 4 on Rapid EOD, 2 on Rapid and Pro, 1 on Builder and the One Day add-on, none on Studio.

Once funded, Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro have none. Builder's sim funded payouts do: "your single largest profit day cannot represent more than 50% of your total profits in the cycle," and the count resets "after each approved payout." Pro has no hard rule but a Consistent Trading Policy that watches for "maxing contracts on every trade, contract flipping, inconsistent position sizing." More on best-day caps: our consistency rule guide.

Where there's a buffer, it's the MLL plus $100 ($1,100 on 25K, $3,100 on 100K, $4,600 on 150K). On Rapid, Rapid EOD and Builder only profit above it can be requested, and the Reserve rules release "remaining Sim Funded buffer funds" only after a Live breach. For Pro, the payout overview allows "up to 60% of your profits" before the buffer clears; the Pro article says it must clear (see below). Builder caps each cycle at $1,000 to $4,500 by size.

In the invented sample week, Rapid's Thursday locks the floor but closes at $1,900, under the $2,100 buffer. Friday's $2,400 is $300 over it, short of the $500 minimum. The second Monday's $2,800 leaves $700 to request: $630 after the 90/10 split.

In the invented week, the floor locked on Thursday; the first request had to wait for Monday.

MyFundedFutures' Builder 50K example: $3,600 of profit is $1,500 above the buffer, and a $1,500 request pays you $1,200. Payouts go through Riseworks after KYC; "most payout requests are approved instantly," and a manual review "may take up to 6 to 12 business hours on weekdays."

Live accounts

Rapid moves you to Live after "$10,000 net profit achieved in a single trading day" (profit past $10,000 that day "is forfeited") or after a Risk Management Team review. Pro reviews you after three consecutive payouts on one account, at the $100,000 cap, by invitation, or on reaching $20,000 in profit, which "triggers a review only." Builder makes you eligible after the fifth approved payout, Studio after 5 payouts or $5,000 requested ($10,000 on #002).

A Live breach on Rapid, Pro or Builder starts a 21-day cooldown, and "rejecting the move to a Live Funded Account is not possible."

Rules that apply to every account

  • Hours: trading runs from "6:00 PM EST" to "4:10 PM EST," when open positions close automatically, so nothing is held overnight; on holiday hours a position left open past the early close breaches (Permitted Times to Trade, updated 2026-08-24).
  • News: Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro sim funded accounts may hold "No positions or orders (including limit orders)" from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after a Tier 1 release: FOMC meetings and minutes, the Employment Report, CPI, plus EIA and agricultural reports for those markets. For 8:30, that's flat by 8:28:00, back after 8:32:00. Evaluations, Builder and Studio are unrestricted; straddles and strangles are banned everywhere (News Trading Policy, updated 2026-08-31, whose restricted list names Rapid and Pro sim funded accounts; Rapid EOD 50k lists Rapid EOD's sim funded "T1 News Trading" as "No").
  • Automation: allowed "so long as these automated tools do not aim to exploit the favorable fills offered in the Simulated Environment"; "High-frequency Trading is not allowed" (Fair Play and Prohibited Trading Practices, updated 2026-08-24).
  • Copying and hedging: copy trading between your own accounts is allowed "across all account types" (Copy Trading at MyFundedFutures, updated 2026-08-24). Copying another trader isn't, and neither is holding long and short on the same underlying at once, such as E-mini and Micro NQ (Hedging, updated 2025-11-10).
  • Size: minis and micros share one cap (Cross Instrument Policy), and sim funded and Live accounts can't trade within 2% of a CME price limit (2% Price Limit Rule).
  • Inactivity: one-time-payment accounts, sim funded included, "could be closed" after 7 calendar days without a trade.
  • Account counts: up to 10 evaluations and 5 sim funded accounts, 3 once any is 100K or 150K; Rapid EOD 3, Builder 25K 2, larger Builder sizes 1, Studio 1 (Moving from Evaluation to Sim-Funded Account, updated 2026-09-04).
  • Products: US exchange-listed futures; "Equities, equity options, cryptocurrencies, contracts for difference (CFDs), and over-the-counter (OTC) products are prohibited." Studio runs "Hyperprop only."

Where do MyFundedFutures' own pages disagree?

  1. Refunds: "a full refund" in the help article; "a non-refundable USD $75.00 fee" in the Cancellation & Refund Policy; "Evaluation fees are non-refundable" in the site footer.
  2. Builder: the 150K article caps a cycle at $4,500, the plan page at $3,500. For Live, the 25K, 100K and 150K articles list no daily loss limit; the plan page lists $600, $1,750 and $2,500.
  3. Pro Live: no daily loss limit and an end-of-day MLL in the redesigned article; "a daily loss limit, reduced contract limits, and a static drawdown floor" in the plan page's FAQ. The older Pro highlights article (updated 2026-10-13) still lists 5, 10 and 15 sim funded minis; old Pro accounts "keep every old rule."
  4. Pro before the buffer: "up to 60% of your profits before fully clearing the buffer" in the payout overview; "Buffer must be cleared" in the Pro article.
  5. Rapid's lock: once the floor "reaches $100" in the Rapid articles, "after your first payout" in the plan page's FAQ. The film follows the articles.
  6. News outside Tier 1: no positions or orders "2 minutes before and after any data release," yet you "may trade through other news releases."
  7. Rapid EOD 50K Live: 3 minis in the Rapid Live article, 4 on the plan page.

Frequently asked questions

What are the MyFundedFutures rules?

On 2026-10-17 MyFundedFutures sells Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro, Builder and Studio plans, each a one-time fee with no activation fee. The standard plans' evaluations need a 6% profit target ($4,000 on Pro's 50K One Day add-on) under a Max Loss Limit of $1,000 to $4,500 that trails end-of-day closes and locks at the starting balance plus $100. Evaluation consistency is 50% on Rapid and Pro, 30% on Rapid EOD and none on Builder, the Pro One Day add-on and Studio.

Is the MyFundedFutures drawdown end of day or intraday?

End of day in every standard evaluation; Studio's is static. Once funded, Rapid trails your equity high-water mark intraday, open profit included, while Rapid EOD, Builder and Pro trail end-of-day closes. Rapid, Rapid EOD and Builder funded accounts start at $0 and their Max Loss Limit locks at $100; Pro's moves to the starting balance plus $100 after the first payout and stays there.

What is the MyFundedFutures consistency rule?

In the evaluation, no single day's profit may be more than 50% of your total profit on Rapid and Pro, or 30% on Rapid EOD. Going over doesn't fail the account; you trade more days. Builder has none in the evaluation but a 50% rule in each sim funded payout cycle. Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro have no consistency rule once funded, and Studio has none at either stage.

How do MyFundedFutures payouts work?

You first build a buffer, $2,100 on a 50K Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro or default Builder account, and request from the profit above it (for Pro, the payout overview also allows up to 60% before the buffer clears; the Pro article says it must clear). Rapid pays daily at 90/10 with a $500 minimum; Pro after 14 calendar days from your first trade at 80/20, with a $1,000 minimum and up to $100,000 per user; Builder every 48 hours at 80/20, capped per cycle, for 5 payouts before Live. Studio pays anytime from $250, or $100 on Studio #003, with no buffer.

Does MyFundedFutures have a daily loss limit?

Not on Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro or Studio evaluations and sim funded accounts. Builder has a soft one, $600 to $2,500 by size, that pauses trading for the rest of the session without closing the account. MyFundedFutures' own pages disagree on whether Builder's Live accounts keep it.

Can you trade news with MyFundedFutures?

In every evaluation and on Builder and Studio, yes. Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro sim funded accounts must have no positions or orders from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after Tier 1 releases: FOMC meetings and minutes, the Employment Report and CPI, plus EIA and agricultural reports for those markets. Straddles and strangles around any release are banned.

Can you hold overnight, use a bot or copy trades at MyFundedFutures?

No overnight holds: open positions close automatically at 4:10 PM EST and trading reopens at 6:00 PM EST. Automated strategies are allowed if they don't exploit the simulated fills; high-frequency trading isn't. Copy trading between your own accounts is allowed on every account type, but copying another trader is not.

Is the MyFundedFutures Core plan still sold?

Not on 2026-10-17. MyFundedFutures' Core and Flex plan pages say the page doesn't exist, the Core and Scale help articles return not found, and Flex is filed under Legacy plans. The plans on sale are Rapid, Rapid EOD, Pro, Builder and Studio.
