E8 Markets sells one-phase challenges with no time limit. On Classic Markets, E8 One has a 6% to 21% target, a hard daily drawdown and a Dynamic Drawdown that trails closed profit, then locks at the start; E8 Pro has a static drawdown, a 2% daily profit cap and daily payouts; E8 Signature has an end-of-day drawdown and, once funded, a soft Daily Pause. Only E8 Zero has a consistency rule in the challenge. Funded, E8 One pays under a 40% best-day rule, Signature under 35%.

E8 drawdown: the daily floor and the loss level
Every E8 account has a loss level under it, and equity or balance reaching it fails the account. E8 One and E8 Pro add a hard daily line that moves every day; a funded Signature account adds a soft one.
- Daily drawdown (E8 One, E8 Pro): a fixed share of the initial balance. "Every new day at 00:00 Server Time, we set your loss level = Starting Balance of the new day − that fixed $ amount." Server time is UTC+3, UTC+2 from early November.
- Dynamic Drawdown (E8 One): "Your Loss Level rises only when you close a profit, NOT when your equity increases." Once closed profit equals the drawdown, it "locks, becomes fully static."
- Static Drawdown (E8 Pro): fixed under the initial balance until "a first payout," which moves it to the initial balance, "and it stays there forever."
- EOD Dynamic Drawdown (Signature, Zero): trails "your highest end-of-day balance" and locks at the initial balance once closed profit reaches the drawdown "or you request your first payout"; in E8 Zero's challenge it doesn't lock.
- Daily Pause (funded Signature only): 2% under each day's start. Trading stops "until 00:00 (server time)"; it "is not a hard breach."
E8 closes positions after a breach with a delay, and closing back above the line "won't prevent the account from being violated."
Day 5: the Dynamic Drawdown locks at $100,000. The daily floor, $103,000, is the tighter: $4,000 of room.
Illustrative balances, not market data: the closes are E8's own Dynamic Drawdown example, one a day; the daily floors are our arithmetic at the Classic Markets checkout preset's 4%. The rules are E8's, as quoted on this page and read 2026-10-17.
Rule: daily floor = the day's starting balance (00:00 server time) − $4,000; Dynamic Drawdown = the highest closed balance − $6,000, locked at the $100,000 initial balance. Equity or balance at either is a breach, so the higher binds.
Read as text
- Day 1: balance at 00:00 server time $100,000. Daily floor $96,000, Dynamic Drawdown $94,000. The daily floor, $96,000, is the tighter: $4,000 under the balance.
- Day 2: balance at 00:00 server time $102,000. Daily floor $98,000, Dynamic Drawdown $96,000. The daily floor, $98,000, is the tighter: $4,000 under the balance.
- Day 3: balance at 00:00 server time $99,000. Daily floor $95,000, Dynamic Drawdown $96,000. The Dynamic Drawdown, $96,000, sits above the daily floor ($95,000). It binds: $3,000 of room.
- Day 4: balance at 00:00 server time $100,000. Daily floor $96,000, Dynamic Drawdown $96,000. Both floors at $96,000, $4,000 under the $100,000 balance.
- Day 5: balance at 00:00 server time $107,000. Daily floor $103,000, Dynamic Drawdown $100,000 (locked). The Dynamic Drawdown locks at $100,000. The daily floor, $103,000, is the tighter: $4,000 of room.
Breach: equity reaches the Dynamic Drawdown, $96,000. E8 closes the account: a permanent violation.
Balances from the film: E8's own examples, $100,000 each. Floors by E8's rules as quoted on this page, read 2026-10-17. The worst moment is equity against the day's starting balance, with no profit closed before it (a closed profit lifts E8 One's Dynamic Drawdown during the day). Touching a floor counts as a breach. E8 closes positions after a breach or a pause with a delay and doesn't rebalance a fill past either line; the check doesn't model that.
It opens on E8 One's Day 3: a −$3,500 worst moment leaves $95,500, above the $95,000 daily floor but under the $96,000 Dynamic Drawdown, so the account fails.
E8's Dynamic Drawdown example, one close a day, at the Classic Markets checkout preset (6% dynamic, 4% daily):
| Day | Balance at 00:00 | Daily floor | Dynamic Drawdown | Tighter floor | Room |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | $100,000 | $96,000 | $94,000 | daily | $4,000 |
| Day 2 | $102,000 | $98,000 | $96,000 | daily | $4,000 |
| Day 3 | $99,000 | $95,000 | $96,000 | Dynamic | $3,000 |
| Day 4 | $100,000 | $96,000 | $96,000 | both | $4,000 |
| Day 5 | $107,000 | $103,000 | $100,000 (locked) | daily | $4,000 |
E8's own E8 Pro payout example (8% static, 2.5% daily, 100% share):
| Day | Balance at 00:00 | Daily floor | Static Drawdown | Tighter floor | Room | Payout that day |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | $100,000 | $97,500 | $92,000 | daily | $2,500 | none |
| Day 2 | $102,000 | $99,500 | $92,000 | daily | $2,500 | $2,000 |
| Day 3 | $102,000 | $99,500 | $100,000 | Static | $2,000 | $1,500 |
| Day 4 | $101,500 | $99,000 | $100,000 | Static | $1,500 | none |
| Day 5 | $100,500 | $98,000 | $100,000 | Static | $500 | none |
| Day 6 | $102,500 | $100,000 | $100,000 | both | $2,500 | $2,250 |
E8's EOD Dynamic Drawdown example (3%), read in the funded stage:
| Day | Balance at 00:00 | EOD Dynamic Drawdown | Room | Daily Pause line |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | $100,000 | $97,000 | $3,000 | $98,000 |
| Day 2 | $101,000 | $98,000 | $3,000 | $99,000 |
| Day 3 | $102,000 | $99,000 | $3,000 | $100,000 |
| Day 4 | $101,000 | $99,000 | $2,000 | $99,000 |
| Day 5 | $104,000 | $100,000 (locked) | $4,000 | $102,000 |
On Day 4 the pause and the breach are the same line, so the Daily Pause can't save that day.
Our calculators each see one line. The daily loss limit calculator (baseline $100,000, rule 4) gives the $4,000, even on Day 3, where the Dynamic Drawdown leaves $3,000. The trailing drawdown calculator takes 6% of a $102,000 peak, $95,880, $120 below E8's $96,000, and never locks. Subtract E8's fixed amount by hand (static vs trailing).

E8 One rules
E8 One runs from $5,000 to $500,000. You pick the Dynamic Drawdown, "and based on that, the profit target/daily drawdown is adjusted"; the split is a separate choice.
| Dynamic Drawdown | Daily drawdown | Profit target | $100K at 80% | at 90% | at 100% |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4% | 3% | 6% | $398 | $445 | $493 |
| 6% (Classic Markets checkout preset) | 4% | 9% | $488 | $547 | $606 |
| 8% | 5.3% | 12% | $586 | $656 | $727 |
| 10% | 6.6% | 15% | $684 | $766 | $848 |
| 14% | 9.2% | 21% | $879 | $984 | $1,090 |
- Passing: the target in closed profit, "in as little as 1 Day," with no consistency rule.
- Payouts: a 40% best-day rule (below), and "Your net profit (payout) must be greater than 50% of your daily drawdown": more than $2,000 on $100,000 at 4%.
- The buffer: a payout doesn't reset the Dynamic Drawdown. E8's example on 6%: from $106,000, a $6,000 payout lands on the locked $100,000 floor: "FAILED."
- News, funded: no trading targeted instruments from "5 minutes before the scheduled news release" to 5 minutes after; profits made then "may be subject to removal." E8 publishes the list of events and instruments only as an image.
- Perpetuals: the same rules on E8 Terminal, netting only.

E8 Pro rules
E8 Pro trades a static floor for a cap on good days. The target equals the drawdown you pick (6%, 8% or 10%), the daily drawdown is 2.5% at each, and in both stages "only 2% of the initial balance per day counts toward the profit target or profit." Sizes run from $5,000 to $500,000; the split is 80% or 100%.
- The cap bites: profit above it is "automatically removed from your account balance" between 00:00 and 01:00 server time. E8's example: a $102,000 open, a $105,500 close, $1,500 removed.
- Payouts: "No caps," "No consistency rules," "No minimum trading days," any day you've made 1% since the last one. Each pays "50% of your total profits," times your split; the other half stays as a buffer. E8's $50,000 example at 80%: $5,000 of profit, $2,000 to you, $52,500 left.

E8 Signature rules
Signature is E8's "cheapest 1-Step challenge," on Classic Markets and Futures, with an 80% split and four sizes.
| Account | Profit target | EOD Dynamic Drawdown | Daily Pause, funded | A profitable day (0.3%) | Classic price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $1,500 | $1,000 | $500 | $75 | $120 |
| $50,000 | $3,000 | $2,000 | $1,000 | $150 | $160 |
| $100,000 | $6,000 | $3,000 | $2,000 | $300 | $280 |
| $150,000 | $9,000 | $4,500 | $3,000 | $450 | $450 |
To request a payout you need a 35% best day, at least $100 ($125 of profit at 80%), 5 profitable days since the last payout (none before the first), and a buffer the size of your drawdown left in. Each payout is also capped:
| Payout | $25,000 | $50,000 | $100,000 | $150,000 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st and 2nd | $1,000 | $1,250 | $2,250 | $3,250 |
| 3rd and 4th | $1,250 | $2,250 | $3,250 | $4,250 |
| 5th and later | $1,500 | $3,250 | $4,250 | $5,250 |
So a first payout at the cap on $100,000 needs a $105,250 balance. On Classic Markets "all positions are closed by 23:00 Server time, and trading re-opens at 00:15 Server time." News is allowed.

E8 Markets consistency rule
"In the SimFi™ Challenge stage, there is a consistency rule only for E8 Zero," and "In the SimFi™ Performance stage, there is no consistency rule for E8 Pro or E8 Zero." E8 One and Signature "must follow the Payout on Demand rules."
| Product | Challenge | Funded |
|---|---|---|
| E8 One | None | Best day at most 40% of profit, to request a payout |
| E8 Pro | None | None |
| E8 Signature | None | Best day at most 35% of profit, to request a payout |
| E8 Zero | No day over 40% of the target | None |
The funded rule gates the payout button. Break it and "you don't lose your account; you simply need to continue trading." It counts the current cycle only: after each payout, "Current Best Day" and "Current Performance" reset.
E8's own example: $3,100 of profit with a $1,500 best day. At 40% you keep trading to $3,750; at 35%, to $4,286. Our consistency calculator (best day $1,500, total $3,100, threshold 40) reads 48.4% and $650.00 more. E8 Zero's challenge rule works on the target. E8's example: on a $6,000 target no day may top $2,400, and a $2,500 day makes the target $6,250. Firms without one: prop firms without a consistency rule.

E8 Markets payout rules
- When: from the funded account only. On E8 One and Signature the first can come "3 days from the start of your trading period," which is the best-day math, not a wait. E8 Pro and E8 Zero pay daily.
- How much: "the minimum payout that you can request with every product type is $100," which takes $125 of profit at 80%. An E8 One payout must be more than half the daily drawdown; E8 Pro needs 1% of the initial balance.
- How: Rise, WorkMarket or, for US clients, Aeropay; "There are no direct crypto payment solutions." E8 charges no payout fee; the processor may.
- How fast: E8's medians for January 1 to May 1, 2026: 11 hours to approval, 24 hours to funds, "up to 5 business days sometimes," and nothing over the weekend.
- Fees back: no. "At this moment, do not provide bonuses by refunding the fee with the first Payout share."

E8 Futures: Signature and E8 Zero
E8's futures line uses CME market data and closes every position at 15:10 CT. Its help center names Tradovate as the only futures platform; e8futures.com also shows NinjaTrader. Signature Futures follows Signature's rules, at $170 for $50,000, with smaller caps and 4 payouts per account if bought after October 1, 2026, 17:00 UTC.
E8 Zero comes as Starter and Max, "identical rules" apart from caps and price: the 40% challenge rule and an unlocked EOD drawdown, then daily payouts from $100 with "No consistency rules," up to 4 per account.

Where do E8's own pages disagree?
- E8 One's preset. The E8 One article's "preset account" (6% target, 3% daily, 4% dynamic) is where the Perpetuals checkout opens; the Classic Markets checkout and the Custom Account article's pre-set pricing use 6% dynamic, 4% daily and 9%. We use the Classic Markets preset.
- E8 Pro's options. The Custom Account article lists a 90% split and a $150,000 size; the checkout has neither.
- Signature's buffer. Payout on Demand: "If your EOD is 4% and your initial balance $100,000, the buffer is $4000." Signature's own pages and the checkout say $3,000.
- Signature Futures at $150,000. "$4,000 EOD," says the article; the checkout shows $3,990.
- E8 Zero's payout count. One article says both "a maximum of 5 payouts per account" and "Maximum amount of payouts per account: 4"; 5 is for accounts bought before October 1, 2026.
- Futures platforms. E8's help center says "Tradovate is the only available trading platform for Futures" and calls E8 Zero "the only available product for this market"; e8futures.com shows NinjaTrader beside Tradovate and sells Signature too.

Frequently asked questions
What are the E8 Markets drawdown rules?
E8 One and E8 Pro have a hard daily drawdown, reset every day at 00:00 server time to that day's starting balance minus a fixed share of the initial balance: 4% on E8 One's Classic Markets checkout preset, 2.5% on E8 Pro. Beside it, E8 One's Dynamic Drawdown trails your highest closed balance and locks at the initial balance; E8 Pro's Static Drawdown stays put until the first payout moves it to the initial balance; E8 Signature's EOD Dynamic Drawdown trails the highest end-of-day balance and locks there too.
Does E8 Markets have a consistency rule?
In the challenge, only E8 Zero has one: no day may make more than 40% of the profit target, or the target rises. In the funded stage, E8 One needs a best day of no more than 40% of the cycle's profit before you can request a payout, and E8 Signature no more than 35%; breaking either doesn't fail the account. E8 Pro has none at either stage, and E8 Zero none once funded.
What are the E8 One rules?
One phase, no time limit. You pick a Dynamic Drawdown of 4%, 6%, 8%, 10% or 14%, which sets the daily drawdown (3% to 9.2%) and the profit target (6% to 21%); the Classic Markets checkout preset is 6%, 4% and 9%. Funded, a payout needs a best day of no more than 40% of the profit and must be more than 50% of the daily drawdown, and targeted instruments are off limits from 5 minutes before high-impact news to 5 minutes after.
How do E8 Markets payouts work?
Only in the funded (Performance) stage. E8 One and E8 Signature pay on demand once their best-day rule holds, as soon as 3 days in; E8 Pro and E8 Zero pay daily. The minimum is $100 on every product, which takes $125 of profit at an 80% split; E8 Pro needs 1% of the initial balance, and an E8 One payout must be more than half the daily drawdown (more than $2,000 on $100,000 at 4%). Payouts go through Rise, WorkMarket or, in the US, Aeropay; E8's median from request to funds was 24 hours between January 1 and May 1, 2026.
What are the E8 Signature rules?
One phase, a 6% target and an EOD Dynamic Drawdown that locks at the initial balance, $1,000 to $4,500 by size on Classic Markets. Funded, a 2% Daily Pause stops trading until 00:00 server time without failing the account; payouts need a 35% best day, 5 profitable days between requests and a buffer equal to the drawdown, and caps limit each one. Positions are closed at 23:00 server time on Classic Markets and at 15:10 CT on Futures.
Can you trade news, hold overnight or use EAs with E8 Markets?
News: yes on E8 Pro, E8 Signature and E8 Zero, and in E8 One's challenge; a funded E8 One account can't trade high-impact news from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after. Overnight and weekends: yes on E8 One and E8 Pro; Signature closes positions at 23:00 server time (15:10 CT on Futures), and E8 Zero at 15:10 CT. EAs: allowed on Classic Markets and Perpetuals if the strategy is yours alone, within 2,000 server requests a day; on Futures, E8 bans semi- and fully-automated trading.
