FundedNext sells four CFD models. The Stellar 2-Step has an 8% then 5% target, a 5% daily loss limit, a 10% static maximum loss and 5 trading days per phase. The Stellar 1-Step has one 10% target, 3% daily, 6% maximum and 2 days. Stellar Lite is 8% then 4%, 4% daily, 8% maximum. Stellar Instant has no target or daily limit, only a 6% trailing maximum. Daily limits reset at 00:00 server time; the standard funded split is 80%.
The challenges at a glance
| Model | Profit target | Daily loss limit | Maximum loss | Minimum days | Standard split | First reward |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stellar 2-Step | 8%, then 5% | 5% of the initial balance | 10%, static | 5 per phase | 80% | 21 days, then every 14 |
| Stellar 1-Step | 10% | 3% | 6%, static | 2 | 80% | 5 business days, then every 5 |
| Stellar Lite | 8%, then 4% | 4% | 8%, static | 2 per phase | 80% | 10 business days, then every 10 |
| Stellar Instant | None | None | 6%, trailing, stops at the initial balance | None | 70%, 80% from Tier 3 | On demand at 5% growth, or after 14 days |
Funded, the loss limits stay and the target and minimum days go. No challenge has a time limit. The older Evaluation and Express models closed to new clients on March 18th, 2025; we don't cover Labs plans such as FNL: 002.

Where the floor sits: daily and maximum loss on $100,000
On a Stellar challenge, today's floor is the higher of two lines: the 00:00 server-time balance minus the daily amount, and the static Maximum Loss Limit. Equity must stay above it all day. Stellar Instant has one line, and it trails. In the 2-Step case, days 1, 3 and 7 are FundedNext's own examples; the rest are invented.
Day 7: the daily floor drops to $88,000, under the $90,000 limit. The static floor binds: $3,000 of room.
Illustrative balances, not market data: days 1, 3 and 7 are FundedNext's own examples, the other days invented. The rules are FundedNext's, as quoted in the 2-Step section and read 2026-10-17.
Rule: daily floor = the balance at 00:00 server time − 5% of the initial balance ($5,000); Maximum Loss Limit = the initial balance − 10% ($90,000), static. Equity reaching either is a breach, so the higher one binds.
Read as text
- Day 1 (FundedNext's example): balance at 00:00 server time $100,000. Daily floor $95,000, Maximum Loss Limit $90,000 (static). The tighter is the daily floor, $5,000 away.
- Day 2 (invented): balance at 00:00 server time $105,000. Daily floor $100,000, Maximum Loss Limit $90,000 (static). The tighter is the daily floor, $5,000 away.
- Day 3 (FundedNext's example): balance at 00:00 server time $110,000. Daily floor $105,000, Maximum Loss Limit $90,000 (static). The tighter is the daily floor, $5,000 away. Lose $5,000 from here and the account breaches with equity at $105,000.
- Day 4 (invented): balance at 00:00 server time $106,000. Daily floor $101,000, Maximum Loss Limit $90,000 (static). The tighter is the daily floor, $5,000 away.
- Day 5 (invented): balance at 00:00 server time $101,500. Daily floor $96,500, Maximum Loss Limit $90,000 (static). The tighter is the daily floor, $5,000 away.
- Day 6 (invented): balance at 00:00 server time $97,000. Daily floor $92,000, Maximum Loss Limit $90,000 (static). The tighter is the daily floor, $5,000 away.
- Day 7 (FundedNext's example): balance at 00:00 server time $93,000. Daily floor $88,000, Maximum Loss Limit $90,000 (static). The tighter is the Maximum Loss Limit, $3,000 away. Below a $95,000 midnight balance the static floor binds and the day's room shrinks under $5,000.
Survives: the worst moment leaves $105,500, $500 above the daily floor ($105,000).
Balances from the film: FundedNext's examples plus invented days. Floors by FundedNext's rules as quoted on this page, read 2026-10-17. The worst moment is closed plus floating P&L, swaps and commissions against the 00:00 server-time balance; touching a floor counts as a breach here, as in FundedNext's own example of a day that starts at $110,000.
| Day | Balance at 00:00 server time | Daily floor | Maximum Loss Limit | Tighter floor | Room from that balance |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $100,000 | $95,000 | $90,000 | $95,000 | $5,000 |
| 2 | $105,000 | $100,000 | $90,000 | $100,000 | $5,000 |
| 3 | $110,000 | $105,000 | $90,000 | $105,000 | $5,000 |
| 4 | $106,000 | $101,000 | $90,000 | $101,000 | $5,000 |
| 5 | $101,500 | $96,500 | $90,000 | $96,500 | $5,000 |
| 6 | $97,000 | $92,000 | $90,000 | $92,000 | $5,000 |
| 7 | $93,000 | $88,000 | $90,000 | $90,000 | $3,000 |
The film's 1-Step case uses invented balances of $100,000, $98,000 and $96,000; on the third day its $93,000 daily floor falls under the $94,000 limit, leaving $2,000 of room. Each challenge's crossover:
| Model | Daily amount on $100,000 | Maximum Loss Limit on $100,000 | The static floor binds below a 00:00 balance of |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stellar 2-Step | $5,000 | $90,000 | $95,000 |
| Stellar 1-Step | $3,000 | $94,000 | $97,000 |
| Stellar Lite | $4,000 | $92,000 | $96,000 |
At a $93,000 balance on a $100,000 2-Step, the dashboard's two permitted-loss figures "will both reflect a figure of $3,000" (source, last edited 2026-03-18).
When does the FundedNext daily loss limit reset?
At 00:00 server time: GMT+3 during daylight saving time, "which typically occurs during the summer months," and GMT+2 otherwise.
- The amount is fixed: "Initial Balance × Daily Loss Limit Percentage," $5,000 on a $100,000 2-Step, measured "from the previous day's closing balance." It counts closed and open results, swaps, commissions and fees.
- A good morning widens that day only: after $2,000 of profit by noon, "the daily loss limit for that day will be ($100,000 x 0.05 + $2,000) = $7,000."
- A loss held over midnight lands on the new day: $2,000 closed and a $6,000 floating loss is a −$4,000 day; hold it past midnight and the new day starts $6,000 down, a breach.
- A breach ends the account. A challenge can be reset at a discount; a FundedNext Account can't.

| $200,000 | $16,000 | $10,000 | $10,000 | $20,000 | $3,900 |
- Maximum loss: balance or equity "must not drop below 90% of the initial balance at any point in either phase" (static vs trailing).
- Minimum days: "at least 5 separate calendar days per phase," even if the target comes sooner; an add-on removes them on the $6,000, $15,000 and $25,000 sizes.
- Quick Strike: profit from trades closed within 30 seconds must stay under 30% of total profit, or progress is put on hold. KYC is due within 30 days of passing.
- 15% challenge reward: 15% of both phases' targets, $1,950 on $100,000 per the plan card.

Stellar 1-Step
The single phase asks for 10% under the tightest limits, and a funded account pays every 5 business days.
| Account | Profit target | Daily loss amount | Maximum loss amount | 15% challenge reward |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $6,000 | $600 | $180 | $360 | $90 |
| $15,000 | $1,500 | $450 | $900 | $225 |
| $25,000 | $2,500 | $750 | $1,500 | $375 |
| $50,000 | $5,000 | $1,500 | $3,000 | $750 |
| $100,000 | $10,000 | $3,000 | $6,000 | $1,500 |
| $200,000 | $20,000 | $6,000 | $12,000 | $3,000 |
- Maximum loss: balance or equity must not drop below 94% of the initial balance.
- Minimum days: 2, even if you reach 10% on day 1.
- Rewards: "If you place your first trade on August 1st, your cycle ends on August 7th."
- The January change: for accounts bought or reset on or after January 12, 2026, the split is 80% (it was 90%) and the fee comes back with the third reward (it was the first).

Stellar Lite
| Account | Phase 1 target | Phase 2 target | Daily loss amount | Maximum loss amount |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $400 | $200 | $200 | $400 |
| $10,000 | $800 | $400 | $400 | $800 |
| $25,000 | $2,000 | $1,000 | $1,000 | $2,000 |
| $50,000 | $4,000 | $2,000 | $2,000 | $4,000 |
| $100,000 | $8,000 | $4,000 | $4,000 | $8,000 |
| $200,000 | $16,000 | $8,000 | $8,000 | $16,000 |
- Changed five days before we read it: "Accounts purchased or reset on or after October 12, 2026, have the minimum trading days requirement of 2 days" per phase (5 on the 3-Day and On-Demand options) and a 10 business day cycle. Older accounts keep 5 days and a 21-day first payout.
- What Lite doesn't get: no 15% challenge reward and no FundedNext Pro scale-up. Funded allocation tops out at $200,000, and an add-on "Increases the Maximum Loss Limit from 8% to 10%."

Stellar Instant
A FundedNext Account from day one, with no target, minimum days, daily loss limit or consistency rule. One limit trails. FundedNext's own $10,000 example, plus one invented day:
| Step | Balance | Maximum Loss Limit | Room |
|---|---|---|---|
| Start | $10,000 | $9,400 | $600 |
| Day 1: +$200 | $10,200 | $9,600 | $600 |
| A $100 reward | $10,100 | $9,600 | $500 |
| Day 2: +$400 (invented) | $10,500 | $10,000, the cap | $500 |
- The limit "Moves up only when profit is made and never exceeds the initial balance." A reward doesn't lower it, so the room shrinks; then it "trails your balance continuously from the very first dollar of profit in the new cycle."
- Rewards: on demand at 5% growth, checked at the end of the day, or every 14 days with at least 1% growth; 70% at Tiers 1 and 2, 80% from Tier 3. No refundable fee.
- Sizes: $2,000 to $20,000, with $20,000 of active allocation at most; scale-up runs to 10 times the initial balance, then up to $2,000,000.

FundedNext payout rules: when, how much, how fast
On the standard option the first Performance Reward comes 21 days after your first funded trade on the 2-Step, then every 14 days; after 5 business days on the 1-Step, then every 5; after 10 business days on Lite, then every 10. The split is 80%. Requests are processed within 24 hours; a reward under $20 waits for the next cycle. The 2-Step and Lite offer three options, chosen at checkout for good:
| Option | Cycle | Condition to request | Split |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 2-Step: 21 days, then 14. Lite: 10 business days, then 10 | The account is in profit at the cycle's end | 80% |
| 3 Day Performance Reward | 3 profitable days | "each with a minimum of 1% profit of account size" | 60% |
| On-Demand Performance Reward | No fixed length | At least 2% growth, and a best day at most 40% of total profit | 90% |
The Lifetime Reward 95% add-on makes any option 95%.
- Cycles start with your first trade and end at 23:45 server time. A losing cycle is extended (21 more days on the 2-Step's first, 5 business days on the 1-Step, 14 days later on); a profitable one resets the balance to the initial balance.
- Getting paid: USDT and USDC from $20 to $1,999, bank transfer from $1,000 to $50,000, card from $20 to $3,000, with a fee "of up to 3.5%." A missed 24 hours earns "a $1,000 compensation," except by bank transfer.
- Fee refund: the first reward on the 2-Step, the third on Lite, and on the 1-Step the third for accounts bought or reset on or after January 12, 2026 (the first before). Never on Stellar Instant.
- Scale-up (FundedNext Pro, from January 12, 2026): 4 Performance Rewards, at least 4% growth in each qualifying cycle and 2 months of activity grow the account 25% and the split to 90%, up to $4 Million, and release the 15% challenge reward (1-Step and 2-Step; not for US traders). Funded allocation is capped at $300,000.

Does FundedNext have a consistency rule?
On the CFD side, only on the On-Demand payout option of the Stellar 2-Step and Lite: when you request, your best day can be at most 40% of total profit, with the account up at least 2%. Every other CFD option has none; futures differ (below). FundedNext's example:
| Day | Profit | Total profit | Best day | Best day ÷ total | Request allowed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $1,500 | $1,500 | $1,500 | 100% | No |
| 2 | $1,200 | $2,700 | $1,500 | 55.56% | No |
| 3 | $1,800 | $4,500 | $1,800 | 40% | Yes |
It's "not a daily profit cap," and exactly 40% passes. A trader FundedNext judges to show gambling behavior must pick the 40% on-demand arrangement or a reduced split. More in our consistency rule guide and firms without one. (on-demand rewards, last edited 2026-09-09; prohibited strategies, 2026-09-22.)
News, weekends, EAs, copy trading and hedging
- News: allowed. On a FundedNext Account, trades within 5 minutes either side of a listed high-impact release on a correlated symbol count 40% of their profit and all of their losses: $10,000 of other profit plus 40% of $3,000 is $11,200, FundedNext's example. Challenge phases are exempt.
- Overnight and weekends: allowed on every Stellar account; swaps count toward the daily loss.
- EAs: below $50,000 only, on MT4 or MT5, with the paid EA add-on. Tools that only set stop loss, take profit or lot size count as EAs.
- Copy trading: between your own Challenge Accounts only, $300,000 combined, never involving a FundedNext Account or a cloud copier.
- Hedging inside one account only; risk at most 3% at a time on a FundedNext Account, cut to 1% for good after a second violation.
- Forbidden: grid trading, tick scalping, high-frequency trading, arbitrage, latency trading, account rolling, and 200 trades or 2,000 server messages in a day.
- Inactivity: 30 consecutive calendar days without a trade deactivates an account.
Sources, checked 2026-10-17: news, weekends, EAs, copy trading, risk, inactivity, allowed and forbidden.

FundedNext Futures: a separate rulebook
Futures have their own help center and three models, each with an end-of-day trailing Max Loss Limit.
| Model | Sizes | Profit target | Max loss (end-of-day trailing) | Daily loss limit | Consistency | Split | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flex | 50K, 100K, 150K | $2,500, $5,000, $8,000 | $1,500, $2,500, $4,000 | None | 40%, in the challenge | 95% | $74.99, $144.99, $259.99 |
| Rapid Pro | 25K, 50K, 100K | $1,500, $3,000, $5,000 | $1,000, $2,000, $2,500 | None | 40%, when funded | 90% | $79.99, $159.99, $279.99 |
| Rapid Daily | 25K, 50K, 100K | $1,500, $3,000, $5,000 | $1,000, $2,000, $2,500 | $500, $1,000, $1,250 | None | 90% | $79.99, $169.99, $279.99 |
| Direct | 50K, no challenge | None | $2,000 | $1,000 | 20%, perpetual | 90% | $169.99 |
The prices are discounts from list ($141.99 for Flex 50K); Flex's help article calls them first-two-purchase prices. Flex's 40% is measured against the target: on 50K, a $1,500 day lifts the profit needed from $2,500 to $3,750. Direct's 20% compares your best day ever with this cycle's profit. We read only these cards and three rule articles. (futures plans, Flex, last edited 2026-10-13; Rapid Pro funded, 2026-09-30; Direct, 2026-10-07.)
FundedNext's numbers in our calculators
- Daily loss: baseline $100,000, rule 5 and −$3,000 realized leaves $2,000 in the daily loss limit calculator, FundedNext's Case 01; enter the initial balance, not the day's.
- Drawdown: the trailing drawdown calculator gives the 2-Step's $90,000 exactly, but $9,588 for Stellar Instant's $10,200 peak, $12 under FundedNext's $9,600.
- Consistency: FundedNext's Day 2 ($1,500 of $2,700, threshold 40) reads 55.6% and approximately $1,050 more in the consistency calculator.
Where do FundedNext's own pages disagree?
- Lite's minimum days: 2 per phase from October 12, 2026 in the Lite help article; 5 in the General Rules and the Challenge Terms, clause 5.3.
- Inactivity: 30 days in the inactivity article, 60 on the General Rules page.
- Leverage: forex 1:30 on the model pages, 1:100 for the 2-Step and Lite in symbols and conditions.
- The 15% reward on a $100,000 2-Step: $1,950 on the plan card, $1,500 in the reward article.
- The $200,000 2-Step price: $1,099.99 on the plan card and reset table, $999.99 in the help article.
- Touching the daily limit: "more than $2,000" in one case, "losing $5,000 breaches" in another; our check treats touching as a breach.
- Stellar Instant's breach: the same article names both equity and "account balance"; assume equity.
- Lite's cycle: "10 days" on the plan card, "10 business days" in the help center.
- News on Instant: the news article limits the 40% rule to the three challenges' FundedNext Accounts; the Instant article and what is allowed apply it to Instant too.
- The 3-Day split: 60% on the plan cards and in the help articles; "Up to 70%" in the model pages' comparison toggle.

Frequently asked questions
When does the FundedNext daily loss limit reset?
At 00:00 server time, which is GMT+2, or GMT+3 while daylight saving time is in effect. The limit is a fixed share of the initial balance (5% on the Stellar 2-Step, 3% on the 1-Step, 4% on Lite), measured from the previous day's closing balance, and it counts closed and floating losses, swaps and commissions. Stellar Instant has no daily loss limit.
Is FundedNext's maximum loss static or trailing?
Static on the three Stellar challenges: 10% of the initial balance on the 2-Step ($90,000 on a $100,000 account), 6% on the 1-Step and 8% on Lite, and it doesn't rise when you make money. Stellar Instant's 6% limit trails the highest balance and stops at the initial balance.
What are FundedNext's payout rules?
On the standard option the first Performance Reward comes 21 days after your first trade on the 2-Step, then every 14 days; every 5 business days on the 1-Step; and after 10 business days on Lite. The split is 80%, 90% after scale-up and 95% with the Lifetime add-on. Requests are processed within 24 hours, and under $20 you can't request one.
Does FundedNext have a consistency rule?
On the CFD side, only on the On-Demand payout option of the Stellar 2-Step and Lite: when you request, your best trading day can be at most 40% of total profit, and the account must be up at least 2%. The standard and 3-Day options, the 1-Step and Stellar Instant have none. Futures differ: 40% in the Flex challenge, 40% on a funded Rapid Pro account, 20% perpetual on Direct.
How many minimum trading days does FundedNext require?
5 per phase on the Stellar 2-Step, 2 on the 1-Step, and 2 per phase on Lite accounts bought or reset on or after October 12, 2026 (5 before that date, and 5 on Lite's 3-Day and On-Demand options). FundedNext's General Rules page still says 5 for Lite. A FundedNext Account has no minimum.
What is FundedNext's 15% reward from the challenge?
On the Stellar 1-Step and 2-Step, 15% of the challenge profit targets, paid once the FundedNext Account meets the Scale-Up criteria (for accounts bought or reset on or after January 12, 2026). Stellar Lite, Stellar Instant and US traders don't get it.
Can you trade news, hold over the weekend and use EAs at FundedNext?
News: yes, but on a FundedNext Account only 40% of the profit from trades within 5 minutes either side of a listed high-impact release counts. Weekends: holding is allowed on every Stellar account. EAs: only on accounts below $50,000, on MT4 or MT5, with the paid EA add-on.
Does FundedNext refund the challenge fee?
Yes, as a Refundable Fee paid with a Performance Reward: the first on the 2-Step, the third on Lite, and on the 1-Step the third for accounts bought or reset on or after January 12, 2026 (the first before). Stellar Instant has no refund.
