Updated 23 October 2026. Runs in your browser; nothing you type is uploaded.

It starts at $100,000. Today's limit is set from it.

The trailing max loss limit follows it. Blank uses the balance.

Contracts allowed today
2 minis today

or 20 micros (1 mini = 10 micros). The "Less than $1,500 profit" row of Alpha's Scaling Plan, measured on profit on the qualified account. Next: 3 minis from a close at $101,500, $1,500 away.

Fits one 8-point ES stop

2 minis or 20 micros. One ES risks $400 and one MES $40 at this stop. Today's allowance is the limit, not the stop.

Stops until the limits
  • At 2 minis ($800 a stop): 2 stops before the daily loss limit; 3 stops before the max loss line, and the next one reaches it.
  • Max loss line $97,000 ($3,000 under the highest close, locking at $100,000): $3,000 of room. Daily loss limit $2,000, which ends the day, not the account.

100K: 6 minis or 60 micros. Max loss: $3,000, trailing the highest close, locking at $100,000. Daily loss limit: $2,000, ending the day, not the account.
Micros: Alpha prints minis and micros side by side at ten micros a mini ("3 minis, 30 micros") and doesn't say how a mix counts; the calculator counts ten micros as one mini. Micro Bitcoin and Micro Ether count as full minis. The Daily Loss Guard is 2% of the starting balance: hitting it flattens your positions and locks the account until the next trading day (6 PM ET), without failing it. It counts open and closed P&L, commissions and fees. The Maximum Loss Limit trails the highest end-of-day balance and stops trailing at the starting balance; floating equity or the closed balance touching it liquidates the account.Sources: Zero Account Overview, edited 2026-08-12; Maximum Loss Limit (MLL), edited 2026-07-15; Daily Loss Guard, edited 2026-07-15; What and When you can Trade, edited 2026-07-17

  • Live (Path to Live) (not in the calculator)When Alpha calls a trader to live, all qualified accounts close: one live account per qualified account with a payout, starting at $0 with 1/10, 2/20, 4/40 or 6/60 (25K to 150K) until the end-of-day Max Loss Limit ($1,000/$2,000/$3,000/$4,500) reaches a $0 balance, then 2/20, 4/40, 8/80 or 12/120, with a scaling daily loss limit of 30% of the account.Source: Path To Live Structure, edited 2026-08-21
Method and privacy

Method: Alpha Futures's caps, scaling rows and loss limits as its own pages word them, read 2026-10-23 (the newest page edit 2026-08-12). A scaling row, where a plan has one, comes from the last close (or the highest, where the firm keeps a row once reached); one stop-out has to leave the balance above the daily and max loss lines; where the firm's pages disagree, the notes name the reading taken. Slippage, commission and news-time caps are left out.

Calculations run entirely in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded. Your last numbers stay in this browser so you can pick up where you left off; Forget them clears them. A link with your numbers carries them after the # sign, which browsers do not send to servers, and the page takes them out of the address before any analytics loads. Limits and trading risk

These tools calculate from your inputs, supported historical records or explicitly labelled teaching examples. They do not verify a live account, predict future returns or confirm that a broker or prop-firm rule has been met. Missing costs, floating losses and changed market conditions can materially change outcomes. Trading can lose the capital committed to it; check the stated method and your account specifications.
