Take Profit Trader 25K Max Contracts, Plan by Plan

Take Profit Trader 25K: Test (evaluation), 3 minis or 30 micros; PRO (funded), 3 minis or 30 micros; PRO+ Development (by review), 1 mini or 10 micros. Read from takeprofittraderhelp.zendesk.com on 2026-10-23.

Updated 23 October 2026. Runs in your browser; nothing you type is uploaded.

It starts at $25,000. Today's limit is set from it.

The trailing max loss limit follows it. Blank uses the balance.

Contracts allowed today
3 minis today

or 30 micros (1 mini = 10 micros). PRO (funded) has a fixed cap, with no scaling plan.

Fits one 8-point ES stop

3 minis or 30 micros. One ES risks $400 and one MES $40 at this stop. Today's allowance is the limit, not the stop.

Stops until the limits
  • At 3 minis ($1,200 a stop): 1 stop before the max loss line, and the next one reaches it.
  • Max loss line $23,500 ($1,500 under the highest balance, open profit included, locking at $25,000): $1,500 of room. No daily loss limit in the calculator for this account.

Take Profit Trader's rules, read from takeprofittraderhelp.zendesk.com on 2026-10-23: Rule 2: Do Not Exceed Maximum Position Size, edited 2025-11-13; TakeProfitTrader Universal Trading Policies (UTP), edited 2026-03-06; PRO Account Rules, edited 2026-09-22; How to Keep Track Of Your Drawdown, edited 2025-11-13. The loss is counted at the stop price; slippage, commission and gaps make it larger. Your firm's dashboard is the source of truth.

  • Test (evaluation)
25K: 3 minis or 30 micros. Max loss: $1,500, trailing the highest close, locking at $25,000. Daily loss limit: none in the calculator.
Micros: Take Profit Trader allows "10x position size" on permitted micro products (50K: 6 minis or 60 micros) and doesn't say how a mix counts; the calculator counts ten micros as one mini."Your maximum position size is a static number of contracts" by account size, the same cap on the Test and PRO. The Minimum Account Balance trails the highest close and stops at the starting balance; touching it at any time, open losses included, ends the Test.No daily loss limit is published on Take Profit Trader's help center for this stage.Sources: Rule 2: Do Not Exceed Maximum Position Size, edited 2025-11-13; Rule 3: Do Not Hit End-Of-Day (EOD) Maximum Trailing Drawdown, edited 2025-11-13; TakeProfitTrader Universal Trading Policies (UTP), edited 2026-03-06

25K: 3 minis or 30 micros. Max loss: $1,500, trailing the highest balance, open profit included, locking at $25,000. Daily loss limit: none in the calculator.

TPT's help center prints the cap in Rule 2, and the PRO Account Rules page states none.On PRO the trailing drawdown is intraday, from the peak balance including open profit, and never rises above the starting balance.PRO and PRO+ accounts must be flat, with no open orders, from one minute before to one minute after FOMC statements, NFP and CPI; the Test lists no news ban.No daily loss limit is published on Take Profit Trader's help center for this stage.Sources: Rule 2: Do Not Exceed Maximum Position Size, edited 2025-11-13; TakeProfitTrader Universal Trading Policies (UTP), edited 2026-03-06; PRO Account Rules, edited 2026-09-22; How to Keep Track Of Your Drawdown, edited 2025-11-13

Micros: Take Profit Trader allows "10x position size" on permitted micro products (50K: 6 minis or 60 micros) and doesn't say how a mix counts; the calculator counts ten micros as one mini.Placed by TPT's review, starting at $0 with reduced size against standard PRO+: a soft daily loss limit ("pauses you, doesn’t fail you") and a smaller end-of-day drawdown. TPT doesn't say whether it trails or where it stops; the calculator lets it trail, the stricter reading.PRO and PRO+ accounts must be flat, with no open orders, from one minute before to one minute after FOMC statements, NFP and CPI; the Test lists no news ban.Sources: PRO+ Development Accounts, edited 2026-05-28; PRO+ Development: 30-Day Live-Capital Cooldown, edited 2026-09-22; PRO+ Account Rules, edited 2026-09-22

Method and privacy

Method: Take Profit Trader's caps, scaling rows and loss limits as its own pages word them, read 2026-10-23 (the newest page edit 2026-09-22). A scaling row, where a plan has one, comes from the last close (or the highest, where the firm keeps a row once reached); one stop-out has to leave the balance above the daily and max loss lines; where the firm's pages disagree, the notes name the reading taken. Slippage, commission and news-time caps are left out.

Calculations run entirely in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded. Your last numbers stay in this browser so you can pick up where you left off; Forget them clears them. A link with your numbers carries them after the # sign, which browsers do not send to servers, and the page takes them out of the address before any analytics loads. Copy and download actions save your calculation locally. The site may record coarse tool actions under its privacy policy, without inputs, results, file contents or filenames.

Limits and trading risk

These tools calculate from your inputs, supported historical records or explicitly labelled teaching examples. They do not verify a live account, predict future returns or confirm that a broker or prop-firm rule has been met. Missing costs, floating losses and changed market conditions can materially change outcomes. Trading can lose the capital committed to it; check the stated method and your account specifications.
