How many micros can I trade on Apex 150K?
EOD evaluation: up to 120 micros, Intraday evaluation: up to 120 micros, EOD Performance Account (PA): up to 100 micros, Intraday Performance Account (PA): up to 100 micros and Legacy evaluation (promotion): up to 17 micros. Ten micros equal one standard contract against the cap ("ten (10) micro contracts equal one (1) standard contract"); the cap covers every open position on every instrument, and an order over it is rejected, not a violation. The Legacy Products page prints each plan's micros at ten per mini (50K: "10 (100 Micros)"), but the Legacy Evaluation Rules page says "You can trade micro contracts up to the maximum contract size listed for your plan". The calculator counts a micro as one contract, the stricter reading.
When do I get more contracts on the Apex 150K EOD PA?
On Apex's Scaling Levels (PA), the contracts follow profit over the start at the last close: $0 – $1,999, 4 minis; $2,000 – $2,999, 5 minis; $3,000 – $4,999, 7 minis; $5,000 – $9,999, 10 minis; $10,000 & Up, 10 minis. The level is set once a day, before the session, from the prior full session's close (4:59:59 PM ET); it never changes during the session and moves down as well as up. Reaching the level's daily loss limit flattens and pauses the session; the PA stays open. A holiday or half-day session doesn't reset the daily loss limit.
