Pine Script v6 migration checklist
These lines don't compile in v6, or behave differently. Check each one (TradingView's guide).
- Line 4: Removed transp= parameterHigh risk
The transp parameter was removed in Pine v5/v6 in favor of color.new().
Fix: Remove transp = X and pass color = color.new(baseColor, X).
The Pine Editor's error
Want TradingView indicators whose Pine Script v6 source already passes every check?
Every desk in Pine Pro Library ships as readable .pine v6 source with confirmed higher-timeframe requests and barstate.isconfirmed event logging.
What causes it
v6 removed transp= (v5 only hid it). Transparency now goes inside the colour.
The fix, compiled
Delete transp= and pass the transparency to color.new(): 0 is opaque, 100 is invisible.
