133 ERR_TRADE_DISABLED

Trade is disabled

From MQL4's table of error codes, read 24 October 2026. An Expert Advisor reads it with GetLastError() after a call fails; the Experts and Journal tabs print what the EA logs.

What causes it

Trading is disabled for the symbol or the account. MarketInfo() with MODE_TRADEALLOWED says whether trade is allowed for the symbol, and the MQL4 Book's order script treats 133 as a critical error and stops.

How to fix it

Check MarketInfo(Symbol(), MODE_TRADEALLOWED) before sending. If it reads 0, retrying won't help: ask the broker why the symbol or the account can't trade.

MT5 returns it as a trade server code instead: MT5 error 10017: Trade is disabled.
