From MQL4's table of error codes, read 24 October 2026. An Expert Advisor reads it with GetLastError() after a call fails; the Experts and Journal tabs print what the EA logs.

What causes it

The broker's trade server has disabled trading by Expert Advisors and scripts for the account, in MQL4's words: Automated trading by Expert Advisors/Scripts disabled by trade server.

How to fix it

No setting in the EA or the terminal turns it back on. Ask the broker whether Expert Advisors are allowed on your account type, or move the EA to an account where they are.
